Can you please help me figure this out?

So in the song Who's Number One by Lil Kim one her third verse it sounds like she's saying "often tipsy, cabin in poughkeepsie" so I was kinda shocked and I looked up the lyrics and it's spelt Percipsy so I googled Percipsy and nothing comes up except that song. Could it be the way it's spelt and she's really mentioning Poughkeepsie? Thanks

EASY MATH HELP!!!! Please help me figure this out....?

I need some help on math that I haven't done in a while for a math review. Could you please tell me what the answer is, explain the process, and how you got it? Thank you so much in advance! Here's the problem:

The following is a well-known children's rhyme:

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives;
Every wife had seven sacks;
Every sack had seven cats;
Every cat had seven kits;
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

Assuming that the entire group is actually going to St. Ives, show that the answer to the question in the rhyme is a partial sum of a geometric sequence, and find the sum.

PLEASE HELP ME!
Thank you so much!

Please help me figure this out, math problem?

Consider this simple example. You want to select a committee of 2 from 4 people, say A, B, C and D.
There are six combinations - AB, AC, AD, BC, BD and CD.
The answer is given by the formula: 4C2 = 4*3/1*2

Using this example for answer for you question will be 32C12
=(32*31*30*....*21) / (1*2*3*...*12)

X does have a binomial distribution. The definition from wikipedia: "In probability theory and statistics, the binomial distribution with parameters n and p is the discrete probability distribution of the number of successes in a sequence of n independent yes/no experiments, each of which yields success with probability p."

• A coin flip is a yes/no experiment because every coin flip is heads or tails.
• n is equal to 4, because the coin flip "experiment" is done four times.
• p is equal to 1/2, because the probability of heads is 1/2 each time the experiment is performed.

So this does fit the definition. It would not fit the definition if, say, you were rolling a six-sided die and counting the number of sixes. Edit: Actually I just thought about it and that would fit the definition too. That's because you're only counting the number of sixes, and every roll is either a six or not a six. The only difference is that p is equal to 1/6 instead of 1/2.

Here's an example of something that would not be a binomial distribution. On experiment 1 and 2, I flip a coin. Then on roll 3 and 4, a roll a die. Let X equal the number of heads plus the number of sixes. X would not have a binomial distribution because p is not constant.

So the answer is C.
