Can You Take A B. Of Science Without Taking Biology At All

AP Biology or AP Environmental Science?

Hm....

I like both of them :). I think i would suggest you to take regular chemistry and physics. But take the AP for Biology or AP Environmental science.

I think AP Environmental Science would have less work and probably easier than AP Biology. But it's up to you. If you feel good about biology as you have done well in the past, then it would not be too much difficult for you now (instead it'll just refresh your memory and adding a little more details). This will prepare you for college biology.

I'm kind of favoring AP Biology because it has lots of things including ecology and environment. So it is more valuable to take AP biology. I think you'll know lots of things about science if you take AP Biology such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, organismal biology, physiology etc...

However, if next year is your high school senior year and you just want to relax and have fun then take AP environmental science.

Can I take biotechnology without taking biology in class 12?

Definitely u can, coz for biotechnology u need to have PCB stream in class 12, it has nothing to do with maths... So don't worry.

Can we do B.Sc agriculture without dong biology in 10+2 ?

Come Institute of Agricultural Sciences, you can get enrolled in BSc. (Ag.) with any of the three subjects , i.e., Biology, Agriculture or Maths in your 10+2. You only need to clear the entrance exam. Gor Biology students, you will only have to answer Biology and chemistry, and for maths students, physics, maths and chemistry all three. So, just put your get down to studies. All the very best!Even in case of the All India Entrance Examination for Agriculture (AIEEA)-UG conducted by ICAR, you can dit for the exam provided you have any of these three subjects, viz., Biology, Maths or Agriculture in your +2.

Can I choose agriculture engineering without biology?

You can get admissions in Agriculture Engineering colleges if you have not studied biology also.Agricultural Engineering relates to the science and technology of producing food grains. It applies principles of engineering science and technology to production and processing in the field of agriculture. Here the knowledge of agriculture principles gets combined with the disciplines of animal biology, plant biology and also principles of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Chemical Engineering. BE/B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is a 4-year the students basically study design of agricultural machinery and equipment; agricultural structures, agricultural resource management, surveying and land profiling.Eligibility is that You should have passed 10+2 in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from a recognized board.Independent entrance tests for Agricultural Engineering are also held by the various state, central, and private universities which mostly require 50% as the prerequisite to appear for the test. for example TS EAMCET, Lovely Professional University(LPUNEST), Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam (BCECE) Common Engineering Entrance Test (Haryana CET).There are Various Job Opportunities in Agriculture:-Jobs in tractor-manufactures, irrigation companies, fertilizer and seed companies, and dairy firms.State agriculture departments recruit Agriculture Engineers at district and sub-district levels for processing, farm mechanization etc.Postgraduates can appear for Agricultural Research Service Exam conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board to become scientists. After qualifying NET one can pursue teaching at colleges and universities as a lecturer.Jobs available to fresh agricultural engineering graduates and postgraduates are:-Agricultural OfficerQuality Assurance OfficerFarm ManagerResearch EngineerProcess ManagerPurchase Manager

Can we take three IB sciences (physics, chemistry and biology) together?

Ideally, you are not allowed to do so. The IB allows you to take a maximum of 2 subjects from group 4 and in such case you can't take the 3 sciences together. This is because the IB wants students’ learning to be diversified and involve subjects from different streams. However, despite this the IB does allow you to take Physics, Chemistry and Biology together. This usually happens when the course you want to study at a particular university needs you to compulsorily take these 3 subjects. The Diploma Programme Coordinator of your school will have to write a letter/ email to the IB board requesting permission in order to meet your University Requirements. I'm not entirely sure about the procedure.I personally know 2 students from my school who are currently doing all 3 sciences without any objection from the Board.Hope this helps !

Can I get into Nursing without having done any Biology, Chemistry or Physics?

Ok so i'm in year 12 now andi'm thinking of Nursing. But all the subjects i'm doing are English, maths and the rest are business subjects, and therefore no science subjects such as biology, chemistry or physics. I did do biology previously, but i wasnt getting good grades so i moved to Multistrand science: A mix of all sciences. I really regret not doing Biology and im nearly finished high school and i know for nursing you need at least one science subject completed in senior. Is there still another way to get into University without having done any science subjects? Please help i really need to know, im soo confused and don't know what to do. Btw Im in Australia.
Please and thanks :)

Will I be OK in AP Physics without ever taking Physics before?

I know it sounds insane but at our school we're allowed to take AP Physics without taking regular or honors physics before. About 1/2 the people in my class took honors physics last year (they're all seniors) and I'm currently a Junior.
I hope to major in the medical field, and I tried to take AP Bio and AP Chem this year but neither of those classes fit in with my schedule. So I chose AP Physics because 1) It'll look better to colleges if I take an AP science my junior year since I'm planning on becoming a doctor; and 2) I hope to get a 4 on the AP exam which will hopefully exempt me from many courses in college and give me room for more medical-based classes.
I know physics is heavy on math, and I think I'm going to be okay with that since I enjoy math and I think I'm above average in it. I'm currently in Precalc.
The thing that worries me though is that 1/2 the class already knows everything and they say everything is soo easy after taking physics honors! Now I'm worried that this class will ruin my gpa but I need to stay in it.

So can people who took this class without previous physics experience, tell me how you did and what advice you'd give me?
Thanks in advance! =]

Chemistry without taking Algebra II?

i'm a sophomore in high school and for me to graduate i need 3 lab sciences (Bio I, Chem, and Physics). however in your sophomore year, everyone is recommended for Physical Science which isn't required for you to graduate. i overrode my teacher's recommendation for Physical Science so that i could go straight to Chemistry, but i'm realizing now that the reason teachers don't want you to take Chemistry until your Junior year is because most sophomores haven't started Algebra II (i'm just now starting Geometry!). i don't have all of the math knowledge needed to do well in Chemistry.. if i totally apply myself and take great notes (i tend to zone out) will i survive? or does the math problem totally cancel out my chances of passing this class? i have no choice but to take this class. since i overrode the teacher's recommendation i'm not allowed to transfer. please someone give me some hope!

What grade 11 science course should i take?

let me tell you something. Decide what you want to do. I didn't ****** up my year. Took Biology and Chemistry, failing both. Ive decided i want to go to law school because without sciences and maths my average is high 80's-low 90's. In Gr.9/10 i got 70's in science, now im struggling to pass.

Biology-Memorization, Hours of memorizing notes EVERY DAY. Good thing is you don't fall behind because it's not concepts, just MEMORIZATION. PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES. If your a slacker/ don't study for science for hours everyday, DONT TAKE THIS. But it is a prerequisite for a lot of university programs, mainly in the sciences so DECIDE WHAT YOU WANNA DO.

Chemistry- I didn't understand the concepts from the beginning so now failing. It builds and builds, getting harder and harder. Difficult if you'nt understand, Easy if you do. I personally find Biology easier b/c Bio is straightforward memorization from notes. Chem is concepts Science and math combined.

Physics im not taking it heard it was a killer course. Decide what you want to do seriously.Bio,Chem,Physics are the only science prereq. for university programs. Your not taking physics. You say your not that good at science. Going into university for sciences/engineering is a poor choice then for you. Business in university only requires 2 Gr.12 maths(NO SCIENCES), Social Sciences(Only English), Science(2 Sciences,2Maths,English),Engineering(Che...
Physics,2 Gr.12 Maths,English(NO BIO),One or two sciences may be required if you want to go into Geography,Environment, Ecology, Psychology(Only recommends Biology).

My sister in Gr.10 has decided she wants to go into accounting and has decided not to take any sciences in Gr.11. She's getting mid-80 in Gr.10 science and got a 90 in Gr.9. But she studies hard for science. She';s decided on her future career path and decided its not worth all the hardwork and stress from taking sciences when she wants to go into business. SO DECIDE WHAT U WANT TO DO.

If you still have not decided what you want to do and you have to choose courses i suggest taking either chemistry or biology. Other sciences are totally pointless not needed for any university programs. Take 1 science and after if u find out what u want to go into and u need another science take it next semester.

Also, if your good at math, then take chemistry. If your not Dont take it.
