College Called Back 5 Months Later Asked For Transcript

15 college credits in 1 month?

LOL its possible, tell him to try to CLEP some classes.... go to your local community college and ask for some more info. Basically instead of taking the full class, you would study for a certain course and pay around $70 and take the test(my friend took the CLEP test for French and got like 9 or 12 credits)...it depends on what you CLEP, and your proficiency level on that subject. (it might not be Called CLEP in your state in Florida its a called CLEP)

NOTE:
Don't CLEP a course that your weak in, and make sure you go to the library and study up first.

*also take some regular courses to, like 6credits (half time) and study for the course(s) that you want to CLEP.

*college semesters take more than a month, yes its around 3-4months depending on session.

*15 credits in one-month is a recipe for disaster,(if you could find such a program) especially for someone with NO college experience. If you do try to do this 15credits in 1month thing and fail, it will take longer than 4months to recover....WHY does he have to do this in such a hurry???? if he wants to join so bad tell him to go talk to an Army recruiter, although they have the same policy, they have X amount of slots open for recruits with a GED that score 50or higher on the ASVAB, with no college credits.

Sorry but he can't go back to get his diploma...

Good Luck to you and him,

Found a link for ya!!!!! Navada State College CLEP (College-Level Examiniation Program )

Will my unofficial transcripts be accepted to join the air force at a higher rank?

You guys are so annoying. Get of your damn soapboxes it's a simple question. It's not about blinds or anything. For your information I'd literally been moved to that apartment dorm two weeks before the semester end. She'd been doing that stuff for at least 5 months when I came. Christ, do people not realize that there's always more to the story, and you should learn that BEFORE making judgements? And you people who called me stupid and an idiot have been reported

Is there any way to remove a Withdraw Fail from a college transcript?

I work as an administrator in a University, so I encounter this a lot. In short, it depends on the individual school, and the circumstances of what lead to your situation. The easiest way to get rid of something like this tends to be to take a class that replaces/removes this blemish on your record. Some schools will allow you to do this at another school and transfer the credit back.

Another, possible less viable option, is to try to process a legitimate late-withdrawal. The school I work for places a 1-year limit on this though, so your ability to do this dereases the further back in time this took place. Also, this tends to be alowed only for circumstances of personal illness or other life-disruptive, events, i.e., death in the family.

Your best bet to get this done, whatever form the resolution takes, is to work with the Dean of Students office (or equivalent) at the school you attended. Their job is basically to be the advocate for a student, so whatever the policies guiding the possible removal of the WD/F are, they will be familiar, and be able to assist if a resolution is possible.

One final note: In te case of retaking a class, the original is often not removed, simply updated. Someone looking at your transcripts could see that you had WD/F, which turned into a better grade, but it is the better grade that is factored into the GPA. Once again though, policies vary from school to school, so your best bet is to work with the Dean of Students office, and they may act as a liason with the academic departments, professors, and academic advisors if a solution is possible.

How do I get the IRS to fax a copy of my tax return transcript?

Although I completed my FAFSA in June, nearly two months early, I'm only now finding out that the college didn't receive it. They have now asked for a mountain of paperwork, including my parents' 2011 tax return transcript. They gave me a paper explaining how to request the transcript online and by (1-800-908-9946). I ordered a copy yesterday online, but I later talked to a friend who said she was able to get her copy faxed to her by calling the phone number. I called the number above and it's an automated system, and no matter what I do I cannot reach a representative. So I've looked online and found another number (1-800-829-1040) but still no luck. I'm aware that I have to be in the physical location of the fax machine, and I have all the information I need. I'm just lost as to how I get a live person on the line. I'm also curious as to whether or not the fact that I requested the transcript online will interfere with having it faxed to me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
