What are some recommended manga book series that are similar to Tokyo Ghoul?
Ouch, this will be difficult..But “anime book series”? Do you mean the manga? That Japanese comic books right? Because anime is not manga..I would want to say the most similar to Tokyo Ghoul is Parasyte.Look the fans even made a fanart about them!Tokyo Ghoul is of course Kaneki to the left, and the right is from Parasyte.Now why they are similar? It is because:Similiar situation. Both the Ghoul and Parasyte are “invisible” to the humans. Seemingly normal and live between each other, without lab test you can't spot the difference between which one is human and which one is not until they change to their true form.Both are hunted by a high priority government funded agency. The ghouls are hunted by the CCG who works 24/7 just like the CIA hunting terrorist and the parasyte by.. I forgot, but you get the idea.Both are fighting for their species’ survival. Ghouls and parasytes are generally powerful, but humans are numerous in numbers and filled with hatred and sophisticated technologies, in order to survive they have to hide, they have to adapt, and more importantly, trust no one.Last point, there's huge shit involved. The main character didn't just simply fighting humans all the times, because not every ghouls/ parasytes are friendly. Some are nice and some isn't, some have a crazy psychopathic mind.Parasyte has anime series but as far as I know also have it's own manga, but whether the series is still ongoing or not I don't know.Buut, Tokyo Ghoul is still ongoing so that's a good silver lining if you wanted to read the manga..Edit:Good job for editing the question haha, cheers!

Comics and anime can be great entertainment and literature/media so it seems very judgemental to me, and if anything implies the people accusing are mentally undeveloped or just buy into the way society should be. They also said never being married and partying make someone mentally undeveloped, idiots.
What are the main differences between DC and Marvel comics?
It seems that others have answered without knowing a full breadth of knowledge of the 2 comic universes. Some have said that DC is darker and Marvel has more 'pop punch'. Some say DC is more about the script and Marvel, more about the art. DC is more appropriate for children, and Marvel more realistic. I believe the opposite could be said for each one of these generalizations - and it could still stand true. Still, what has sort of been said by others is very true. The difference between the DC and Marvel is the characters. This should be your deciding factor. Do you like Batman or Captain America better? Wolverine or Superman? Hellcat or Hawkgirl? If you like realistic and cartoony artwork, improbable and true-to-life plot lines, mature or 'young' reading - either is good for you. Pick the character you like and go from there. In my experience, I started with X-Men. There are so many X-titles that I can read each title and get a different thing out of it. Mature, dark reading? Read X-Force. In depth, story-based plot lines? Read X-Men Legacy or X-Factor. Need a younger, more teen-based story? Read Young X-Men. Another thing that I don't think has been brought up is continuity. DC has been around 20-30 years longer than Marvel and has a much longer continuity to follow than the Marvel universe. Keep that in mind when you start trying to figure out the back-story on the characters you're reading about.

This is what I think of "anime haters". .......... .......... That's correct, I didn't forget to type anything. The term "couldn't care less" is my motto here, usually these people who post such things are trolls anyway, and are not here to inform or help others. They are not usually worth responding to, and are reported if need dictates.

Some of magic, some have super natural abilities, and others just have unique interests. Either way, it gives them them a realm that they are excited to explore and to show off the beautiful things they have discovered.As the consumers, we too can find some sort of escapism through their marvelous works, but this doesn’t mean that our world is dull in comparison, it simply means that you have not explored it enough. You have to find your own entertainment.From our prospective, all fantasy worlds are bustling with life, like within Log Horizon:But in order for this festival to come together, someone had to sign off on it:Which means there is a lot of behind the scenes work:This still happens in our world, its just you have to be aware of the unique things that are happening around you. In other words, you can’t be so consumed in your own hobbies (anime, comic books, or fantasy worlds) that you miss out on them.If you can blend them together then that makes it even better. So go exploring once in a while, you’ll never know what you’ll stubble into :)
