Plz Help With English. Is This Sentence Correct?

Hi, everybody, I wonder are the following sentences correct?

--- quote ------
Statement A is in conflict with statement B. So is statement C with statement D.
-------------------
They are two sentences from the essay I'm writing. I wonder if the second sentence is correct. I wanna express: "Statement C is also in conflict with statement D". But since there're already too many "in inflict with" in my essays, I wanna use a "So" to make my phrases less repetitive. Is it correct? Or are there other phrase to express "in conflict with"?

Thanks in advance:)

But physically speaking, William's head is on his NECK, not his knee. So you decide: Correct or Incorrect? I'd go with Incorrect.
