We've said that there are organs and bones, but diet kids are trying to perform advanced chemistry with 7th grade educations, that's a fact, not an insult. I would not trust a 7th grader to stock fright, much less perform medicine.

Stress causes weight gain. Lacking sleep and dieting are both stressors that make you fat. Going on a diet makes people fat.

Don't know your age, but if you are around 40 or higher, you might want to try Melatonin. Our melatonin levels tend to drop after age 40. You could give it a try if you are younger, but it is not as likely to help you. No harm in trying though.

I have used ear plugs for many years, but if you can't, have you considered a white noise machine or a fan running in your room?

You dont gain weight from not sleeping but you'd gain weight because when you dont sleep, your apetite increases by 15% so you eat more. Also, your metablism slow and its harder to burn calories. And you burn heaps of calories while you are asleep so Its a bit of a combination of things.
Also, your weight will change daily by about 0-3lb because of lots of things, like water weight, if u just ate, bodily fluid, etc.

Sleeping will take the circles away! But I'm not sure about the hair, probably though!

not directly, however I do think indirectly it could cause a chain of events that lead to weight gain : Lets say your not having sex and are pretty sure you wont be having sex anytime soon, then you probably arent all that concerned with what you look like naked so you probably arent being careful with your diet or working out and that could definitly lead to some weight gain.

Does oversleeping make you gain weight?

Well, consider two things.
1/You are I bed, so your body will not be using up and excess energy it still has in it, so that would cause you to gain weight if it was the only variable.
2/Because you are in bed sleeping, you are not up eating, thus you are not putting on calories form eating in the morning. However if you make up for this lack of eating in the morning by eating twice as much at lunch, you almost certainly will gain weight, unless you do plenty of execising.
