DHL tracking not updating?!?
I ordered a package two days ago and I received a tracking number which was not working so I told them and they provided me with a new working one, but For 9hours now it has been stuck on "shipping information received" and this is not common as I have ordered from this website before.

It's been 4 days since the DHL tracking stopped when it said "scanned into sack/container" in Melrose Park, IL. What does this mean? I'm expecting a parcel from the USA (I'm in the UK)
As mentioned by another, you’ll have to wait until the package is scanned again…when received in the UK after customs. I have had a long delay between updates, but all that means is that it is in transit. No one is going to sitting there during transit and updating all the packages on their truck/airplane/whatever…so it is just a situation of waiting for it to arrive.4 days is a bit long, but it could be that they just didn’t have enough to fill up the plane for a transcontinental (transatlantic) trip to make it http://profitable….so your package along with others were held up for a couple of days until they had a full load. Once that arrives in the UK, it is up to customs to sort through that before handing it back to DHL…then you should get an update on the status of your package.
EMS Shipping not updating, What should I do?
strange indeed! I am from UK. I have noticed that my EMS details has not updated for two days only, it could be the Christmas period will take longer, but two weeks is unacceptable. I can't even find their direct number, all I see on the 'contact us' page is 11185' and this number is not even complete Last time I had same issue, it only updated after I had received the parcel. But it didnt take two weeks, just couple of days. if your seller promised to deliver in 5 to 7 days, then you should contact them and demand an explanation. if their delivery takes up to two or three weeks, then, there is a chance you will receive it soon even if the system EMS doesn't update. Action plan for the future: options to consider : 1) pay extra to use DHL ( they are highly professional and have robust update system) 2) change seller immediately if you suspect they are not trusted I hope all goes well for you. here is my update for your reference. Does DHL forget to update tracking sometimes?
I am in Ohio and I ordered a package on Amazon from California about a week ago. It shipped a day later like normal but now it is in a different town in California and has been for the past 5 days. I know that when I order things from the USPS sometimes the tracking doesn't get updated until the package is delivered to my door, so could this be the same case for DHL?
