It is never too late to find out if your Yahoo! email has been read by the recipient. Send the recipient a second message, and ask if they received your first message, for example.Standard internet e-mail does not contain mandatory read receipts, so tracking if a message has been read relies on side-effects of reading the message. Sometimes, such side-effects are provided by the mail client software explicitly (e.g. Outlook allows viewers of messages to return a read-receipt, if the senders of the e-mail requested one), and other times such side-effects are provided implicitly (e.g. an HTML-format message being parsed that includes resources such as a CSS or image or JavaScript routine from another machine).You have already sent the e-mail message; if you retained a copy of this message, it can be analyzed to see if it contained any trackable elements, and then logs of the system which serves those elements may contain information allowing the deduction that a message has been read.Alternatively, if you have a legally compelling reason, then a suitable legal document (e.g. subpoena) may be served against Yahoo!, whereby their own logs indicating that the mailbox they host can be acquired to determine when the message you sent was fetched by any mail client. That depends on you, Sharla. First Yahoo claims they have large storage, so you can save many mail items, if you so desire. If you wish to save the mail items, then do NOT place them in your 'spam' folder or your 'trash' folder as Yahoo goes in and regularly deletes them. If you do wish to save them, you can keep them in your 'Sent' folder or the 'Draft' folder. or you can make your own folders with names for that particular purpose. When the E-mail is open, click on the "Move" button at the right top of your mail screen. Click on the "New folder" link. A small window will open, so you can name this folder, name it and then click on the "OK" button. This will place that mail item in the new folder you just made. You can do this as many times as you like, or use the same folder for all of them. Hope this helps.

If you sent/received the message all the attachments/photos will be in MY PHOTOS/MY ATTACHMENTS. i don't understand why you use DRAFTS as your storage. Yahoo has unlimited storage so you can save them anywhere as long as you don't delete the message. I am not sure you can download from the DRAFT folder. Send one of the messages to yourself and see if you can open it once it gets to your inbox. If it still doesn't work, try below. In my case my PPS attachments are saved to my desktop. If this occurs for you Power Point viewer 2007.....if you save it to your desktop....will have an icon on your desktop. Now...when you go to your desktop and the icon for your attachment is there double click on the Power Point viewer icon and the box should appear with...hopefully, DESKTOP will be displayed in the LOOK IN box at the top. If it is not click on the down arrow on the right side and desktop will be an option. Click on that and Desktop will go in to this box and everything on your desktop will be displayed below. You must change the mode of compose email from "plain text" to "Color and Graphics". For this, you can click the "My account" link from top, intrduce the password, then click the "mail" link from right (is pretty small) then choose general Preferences from center then at "Composing E-mails" choose "color and graphics" If you are not using mail beta, you can click the dropdown near Mail tab, and select Options then choose general Preferences from center then at "Composing E-mails" choose "color and graphics" And, after any of these two ways, click save ;) Florin.
How do i search and view photos attached to my emails?
In my yahoo mail account, i do not have the option that allows me to search for and view the photos/videos attached to my emails. I can see a "search shortcut" section just below the folders sections in email accounts of friends but my account does not seem to have this. When i try to search messages, it merely searches for text in the message and not for photos or images

The only answer I can give you "sst" is to try the BASIC version which is quite fast. Once you've gotten in it, though, you'd better place it in your «favorites». This way you can select either the full featured version or the Basic if the former won't send you the mails right away. If you do not know the procedure to enter BASIC, do this then : >go to gear top right→ select settings→select Viewing email→go down to the right and place the dot in the small box next to the word BASIC→go all the way down to the left and click SAVE. That's all. Now......I suggest you also place the regular version in the «favorites». Why? Because this way you can call for both versions and have them at the very top and switch from one to the other as you wish. This is what I do every time I go into Yahoo mail. Good luck!
