My husband has chip on his shoulder and disrespects me...?
You deserve better and your kids deserve better,if he is happier at work tell him not to come home,just send the payday so you can pay the bills.If you are not happy with you and your life then its time to make a change.I was married for 18 1/2 years and went through alot of what you are going through plus physical abuse and I chose to leave and when I did he had a realality check big time,and now after 6 yrs.divorced we are friends,I have made it on my own and raised my two daughters and if I could do it all over I would have left alot sooner than I did.So ask yourself some questions are you happy with you and where you are in life and if you are not then its time for some changes to take place in your home,starting with the disrespectful husband. Stop doing for him when he is home from work let him do it (wash his own clothes,fix his own meals,) and if he ask tell him I do not do anything for people who disrespect me, someone who really loves there partner does not do that to them no matter what the reason is. "IF YOU WANT RESPECT THEN YOU HAVE TO GIVE RESPECT" and "TRUST IS SOMETHING SOMEONE HAS TO EARN FROM ME I DO NOT GIVE IT AWAY FREELY" So think about it what do you want? What makes you happy? Are you happy right now in life where you are? Are you happy with yourself ? If you can not answer yes to all of these questions then you need to make some changes.........If you are not happy with yourself then no one is happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your boyfriends friends are disrespectful to you, shouldn't he get rid of the friends?
My boyfriends friend"Joe" and I completely clash to the point that he is obviously disrespectful of me. We can't even be in the same room together. Either he leaves or I leave.My boyfriend doesn't think he should have to make a choice. I should just learn to put up with the disrespect.I believe he (my boyfriend) should make a statement by not hanging around with "Joe".
