How can you get nail gel to dry if you don't have a UV lamp?
You can't. Gel polish and gel nails contain photoinitiators that will not harden without a light of the correct wavelength (UV or LED depending on the gel ). Any “gel” that claims it hardens without UV light is not a true gel

I'm slightly perplexed at your question and I'm wondering if you're actually using a gel product. Both gel nails and gel polish cure in anywhere from 30 seconds to two minutes per layer depending on the brand and the lamp type you are using. Not to mention, gels don't dry they cure under a UV lamp. There's nothing you can do to speed up cure time of true gels, not to mention 30 seconds is pretty fast to begin with.If you are wearing a “gel” polish that needs to evaporate to dry then you are just wearing nail polish.

My uv light has broken but I need to do my sisters nails and mine. When I was at college we did acrylics and gels and we did use uv lights but we also didn't use uv light once it took ages but I wasn't very good at college n didn't pay much attention n can't remember much lol.. I would let my daughter get the shellac or gel, but no acrylics. I think fake nails on a girl so young would just be weird and unnecessary.
