Girls would u date a guy who had a speech impediment and u didn't know it at first?
What if u liked a guy and thought he was so sexy but u didn't know he had a speech impediment then u found out? Would u still like him ? If I was a girl I wouldn't probaly not like him anymore but that's me. See I have a speech impediment and I can't say some words or it sounds funny when I say it . And bc of that I can't have a decent conversation with someone bc I'm so self consious(can't spell) about it . I dont tgink i use to be this self consious about it but i guess cuz im older that i got worse . Idk what to do . I'll never find a girl bc of my speech impediment . Unless I find a deaf girl who can't hear me . Or I may be alone forever .

I'm 18 and I never had a girlfriend . But its not bc I'm ugly or nothing bc girls think I'm hot. But its me that's the problem. When they talk to me I give them short answers and I jusyt stand there looking like I'm a idiot . But its not my fault I'm like that. I have a speech impediment where I can't say some words and I always eff up what I'm about to say. I can't have a conversation bc of it. Can't talk to girls bc if they here me talk then they wouldn't want to go out with a guy that can't talk right . I usely only say what I can say so people think I talk stright. I don't have many friends bc of the speech impediment bc I don't like talking. Basicly my life is ruined bc of my speech problems. My family doesn't understand why I'm so shy(I never told any one that I am so self concous about the way I talk. I think it was all caused bc of an ear infection I had when I was a baby. I don't know what to do. I stoped getting speech lessions when I got to high school but I really should of never stopped. People don't understand how hard it is for me. I don't think I have a future. I never had a job in my life and I want a job that involves no talking. I always goto sleep and pray that I wake up and I can talk right but no its always going to be like this. My speech impediment gets in the way of everything. Its the reason I wanna die and start all over. U can all laugh at how pathedict my life is.
Should I dump my boyfriend because of his speech impediment?
Your family is being UNBELIEVABLY shallow! I have a speech impediment myself (a stutter) and one of THE biggest fears about getting into a romantic relationship is the fear that the girl will be wierded out by the fact that I sometimes have trouble speaking. I am at least glad to hear that YOU don't think any less of him for something as trivial as a speech impediment. Does it hinder his efforts at work? From what you have written, no. Does it influence in any way how he treats you, his gf? Again, no. Absolutely tell you family in no uncertain terms where to go. They don't have to date him, they just need to accept the fact that you are. So he has a playful side and isn't always serious (he gets along with your nephews) - he's great with children, so he'll be a good father. Again, it doesn't hinder him at all if he's got his own place and a good job. Your family are entitled to their opinions, I guess, but to try to force you to comply with their opinions is very unfair. If he's honestly NEVER done anything bad towards you (and from your post it seems like that's the case) then you are clearly happy with him so stay with him and put your family in their place.
Do I have a Speech Impediment ?
Most schools or maybe out of school have a speech therapist. Check with your school and meet with them. My sister was the same way and after a school year with her speech therapist she spoke just like all the other kids in her class.or watch you while some1 pronounces the sounds of the letters like the letter L you would watch where they would put the tounge at the top of your mouth and make the sound it just takes practice and time imitate and practice a little everyday. I real stutter is adorable, it means to me that a guy is really nervous :) (but I hate it when guys fake stutters to try and seem vulnerable, it really bugs me since I actually have a speech impediment :P) Don't try and rush yourself, you'll find someone who loves you soon enough, and yes girls like inexperienced guys, how do you think the experienced ones got that way? :) Just relax and live your life :)

Rahul( my friend who stammere ) very often came to my place. We chat and chat. Your question remind me of the first chat we had. Truly speaking I find it cute and interesting to listen to him. No difference. After all he is my friend and he is a human being. No hard feelings. No irritation. Nothing. Just amusing as it feels with a friend.Look, we need to meet and establish relation with those who has good content in their life. Who is good with you, who loves you and your way. No matter whether he/she is having any uniqueness in their life.Stammering is not so odd. Its natural. For me and for majority of people.
