Can i skip the merryweather heist in gta v?,?
because i have a phobia of large bodies of water and even when i was using the sub in the preparation mission, it still freaked me out and i couldn't do it. i had to skip it. but some missions i havent been able to skip? so is this skipable bc if it is then im not gonna bother trying ill just fail it till i can skip
Do you not get paid for the Merryweather heist GTA V?
I didn't get paid either! But I think it had something to do with failing to set up the heist properly? When I completed the heist, Lester came in a cab and told us we had to take it back or we'd be put on a government watch list. The payout was supposed to be $20,000,000 but we got $0 I'm not sure if I was supposed to get a helicopter but I chose to sink the ship instead of the off shore mission. So I don't think I needed it. I'm so confused.
GTA5 Merryweather's competing company?
I tried asking this once but a couple of idiots answered, and I'm afraid people will think it's already answered. Attempt #3 at this. I had to block some guy that repeatedly answered moronic things. I'm about to do the cargo ship heist against Merryweather. I'm trying to figure out their main rival so I can invest in them before the mission, then collect profits afterward. Anyone know?

I'm on the mission "the merryweather heist, and I'm trying to shoot at the guards, but for some reason, I can't zoom in or out on the scope.. Does anyone else have this problem?

It means that the player you sent the mercenaries after has killed them all, meaning that the hit was unsuccessful.
What is the story of GTA 5 (the FIB & IIA thing)?
The FIB in GTA V is analogous to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the IAA is analogous to Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) . The story revolves a bit around the rivalry between the two intelligence agencies of the United States (FBI - domestic; CIA - international) that was captured in the book Wedge: The Secret War between the FBI and CIA. Now in the game, because it’s GTA, the rivalry is exaggerated and turned into an all out dirty war between the two corrupt organizations, whose buildings are located side-by-side in Pillbox Hill, Downtown San Andreas.Now, as you may be familiar with the story, The botched Ludendorff Heist (Prologue) undertaken by Trevor Phillips, Michael Townley and Brad Snider took place, where Trevor escaped, Michael was presumed dead and Brad was thought to be arrested. However, the reality was that Michael agreed to set up Trevor and Brad to the FIB, as he promised Agent Dave Norton. In the massacre, Brad was killed and Michael got away by faking his death (and his grave had Brad six feet under). Trevor knew nothing of this and went on to start a new life in Sandy Shores. Michael went into a witness protection programme under the FIB where he was made to mend his ways and was offered a luxurious mansion in Rockford Hills. This ensured Michael was under the control of the FIB and was supposed to do the dirty work for them, which included attacking the IAA. Soon, a series of escapades drags Trevor (his anger at Michael after discovering him in the Vangelico heist) and Franklin (who offered to tag along with Michael to learn the ‘tricks of the trade’ ) into the FIB payroll and all hell breaks loose after that, which forms the rest of the game.Now, Ferdinand Kerimov was being forcefully interrogated by the IAA when the trio rescue him, only to hand him over to FIB agent Steve Haines. The mission where he gets tortured is all but a means of getting information about an alleged Azerbaijani terrorist Tahir Javan who is then eventually sniped to death by Michael. Also, when the FIB has it’s way, there’s usually no stopping them (until they drove themselves to their own deaths).
How to use GTA 5 heist money?
When I did the heist, and finished it, I had the same thing, so I redid it, except I did the other option the second time, the offshore option. Whichever option I chose, I would end up with a take of 20 million, but what I discovered was that it is void, because the take is a superweapon, so the government will come after you. Essentially, you don't get money from the heist. This really sucks, and I hope the takes improve the more heists I do.
Heist icon disapeared on gta v online how do i get it back?
I went to lesters house and he told me he will call. Then I answered and there was a heist icon in my apartment. I went to go start it and the servers were down. I tried the next day and I saw that the heists icon disappeared. Help?
