Do You Think That Hulk Hogan Will Resign With Tna

What will happen to TNA, is it doom?

Technically TNA has been doomed for years, I'm not saying TNA isn't good; there are just more bad points then there are good points. It's like a replay of WCW sometimes, I still don't understand how people ever thought TNA would take over WWE or TNA would ever combat with WWE.

Enthuse for Rabirr!: Brilliant!

Do you think the rumors are true that TNA is moving on without Hulk Hogan this fall?

A show has already been taped (airing either next week or the week after) where Hogan comes out and says that he's done and that it's time for the young guys to take over etc, it's no rumor it's cold hard fact, and hilarious as it is it was Hogan's decision, they wanted him to face Sting at Bound for Glory then turn face

Why do people care if TNA signs?

Former wwe wrestlers?

They are wrestlers. Wrestlers wrestle. When you are unemployed as a wrestler, you look for work, as a wrestler. Wrestling companies hire these wrestlers.

But for some reason, many of you can't understand this.
It's like that in any business, if you are unemployed, you look for a new place to work. Why does it matter where they worked first?

What if CM Punk never resigned with WWE in 2011 and went to TNA? Could he have put WWE out of business?

No, CM Punk to TNA would not put the WWE out of business because they still have their golden boy John Cena and many other stars.

Will CM Punk get TNA out of the gutter? That depends, are they really in the gutter or are you expectations for a company only 11 years old to high?

TNA is just where they need to be at 11 years old. Let's keep something in mind here. TNA at a 11 years old is bigger now than WWE was at 11 years old. A LOT bigger. WWE couldnt even afford to tour nationally when they were 11 years old. It took the WWE over 30 years to accomplish what TNA has accomplished in 11. Let's dial down our expectations and just enjoy the ride. TNA is going nowhere. It's a cash cow, a company that cost the owners only 250 thousand dollars and is now worth between 75 to 100 million. TNA's success is the reason why Jeff Jarrett is worth over 30 million dollars now and it's the reason why he doesn't even need to work anymore since he still ownes 30% of TNA.

TNA was the highest rated show on SPIKE TV when the UFC was on SPIKE and it's still the highest rated show on SPIKE TV today. Just another reason why SPIKE will never let TNA go.

Even the Neilsen ratings company see's how TNA has grown and has tried to buy TNA offering the Carter family 60 million dollars for TNA, which they turned down without hesitation.

CM Punk to TNA would increase the ratings for a while but the only thing that will help TNA is if TNA starts to advertise in the United states. WWE had to release a super bowl commercial to let the world know they were changing to the attitude era and introducing the new WWE or WWF at the time to the world. Then they released another commercial announcing to the world that they were getting the "F" out and becoming WWE.

TNA needs to introduce themselves to the world much like the WWE did. Many people don't even know there is another wrestling company other than WWE.

Why is WWE star AJ Styles thinking about retiring if he's only wrestled for WWE for a year?

He’s actually coming up on two years as of the Royal Rumble. Thats just WWE though. AJ has wrestled consistently for over fifteen years (he was already in Ring Of Honor as of 2002).He’s forty years old and has accomplished a lot in his career. He held pretty much every title in TNA and was the top star for the company over a large portion of his decade plus tenure. He then became world heavyweight champion in New Japan, as well as leading the very very popular Bullet Club. Now, just two years in, he’s already in his second world title reign, having also spent some time as US champion. He’s pretty much done it all, and at his age, it wouldn’t be surprising if he were eyeing retirement. However, I hadn’t heard that. And he has, within the last week said he’s not retiring any time soon.

Why are WWE & TNA sooooo confusing?

Well, damn. Here I was all ready to jump on my soapbox and explain all about the WWE and TNA, what their differences are, and how we're "supposed" to watch them, then you go and bring up their contradictory ratings. I can't explain THAT and don't have an answer. The WWE IS more "TV-14" than TNA is, despite their ratings.

The only thing I CAN say about that is "PG" has a huge envelope of what's acceptable to get that rating. The WWE has been very conservative in the past, but now is pushing toward the upper limits of what "PG" allows.

TNA seems to be trying to be a little more...family-friendly (to attract a bigger audience) without deliberately trying to, uh, lose their more adult rating in case they want to return to more "TV-14" content in the future.

Does Vince McMahon secretly own TNA?

It just seems more and more like he does own it i mean look at all these people like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and all these others coming to TNA it just seems like he would have something to do with it. If he doesn't, then who does? It just doesn't seem like Jeff Jarrett owns it.

What would it mean for a smaller promotion to sign CM Punk right now? Say TNA, which is by no means a meager promotion, were to sign Punk, and announce Punk vs. Samoa Joe on the night of WrestleMania. Could they actually blow away WrestleMania, something even WCW couldn't do in their heyday?

WWE is a global brand. Millions of people watch it all over the world and it has a level of reach that no other wrestling promotion as of now can match. As much as I would like CM Punk to come back to pro wrestling and wrestle guys like Samoa Joe or AJ Styles, I can't see that happening for these reasons:* Money wise, he will definitely not be compensated like how he was in the WWE. He is financially secure at this point, and I don't really see him risking his health for the money if he already has enough.* If you listen to his podcast with Colt Cabana, you can see that he has become embittered with pro wrestling in general due to his experiences with WWE recently. The man had a staph infection and he was wrestling for months with it. He got his termination papers on his wedding day. I just can't see him coming back when the scars are so fresh. But if a revolutionary new promotion with a lot of ambition came forward and if he gets the motivation and his love of pro wrestling back again, then maybe this may happen. But more likely, a few years later I'm guessing he will show up in WWE again, maybe as an active wrestler or maybe not. Time heals all wounds and he is very passionate about the business. And WWE is the grandest stage of them all. So never say never. What would it mean if Punk joined some promotion?*Mainstream attention, and LOTS OF IT.*The promotion would be able to attract many other talented wrestlers who are not in the WWE like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Chris Hero, Ricochet, and hey maybe even Alberto Del Rio ( or El Patron as he is known now).*Pure wrestling without any flashy stuff still has a huge following. And Punk along with these guys can really put on awesome matches. With the public appeal of him, they can gather a huge following pretty soon.I would buy a PPV to see Punk. But blow away Wrestlemania? Can't see it happening any time in the next few years at least. It has been around for 30 years and with all due respect, as a CM Punk fan myself, it would take a lot more than him to out gross Wrestlemania.
