Where can I find a free trial code for Xbox Live Gold?
I haven’t purchased a physical game in a while, so this might have changed, but Xbox games used to come with 48-hour free trials of Xbox Live Gold. These free trials stacked, so if you entered 15, you’d have a free month of Xbox Live Gold. But where can you get 15 of these free trials? Gamestop! Many of their used games still contain the free trial vouchers, and there’s no rule against taking them. Just be polite if an employee asks you why you’re opening their used game cases. When I worked at Gamestop, we had no problem with customers doing this, and we would even remove vouchers and set them aside for some customers. Employees would also use them from time to time.

FIRST don’t believe ANYONE posting links to free codes or code generators….those are ALWAYS BS spam/scammers. And questions like this are a magnet for them!(so fair warning for when they post and likely vote down this answer)2nd use your phone and tell your friends/family that you want XBL gift cards for your b-day and/or christmas (whichever comes first). Since that’s probably the best/easiest legitimate way to get it for FREE!3rd, you could MAYBE set your phone’s default browser to BING and sign-up for bing rewards since you can EARN points towards XBL. And it’s probably the closest you will come to getting LEGITIMATE XBL codes/access through your phone (since microsoft owns bing). Or it is if you didn’t try the 2nd thing I told you to do.Otherwise, like it or not THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE XBL CODES/ACCESS! Microsoft has had FAR too long to make sure their XBL online network and their code generating system is air tight and that NOBODY other than them (and paying customers) have access to it.… which AGAIN is why I say anyone posting links to free codes or working code generators is just trying to scam you getting you to do surveys or trick you into handing over personal info.

Ask someone you know to buy you the prepaid cards or to give you the equivalent money as gifts for your birthday, Christmas, or some other gift giving reason. You get the codes/money for free, don't have to worry about problems arising as if you had tried stealing them, shouldn't have to deal with surveys or referral links or anything of that nature, the codes will be activated since they were bought in a store, Microsoft has no reason to ban you or try to shut down the ability to get/give gifts, and the best part is that getting/giving gifts is still possible and legal despite what most people think or say anymore.

I’ve notice this question gets asked quite a bit, I think I���ve answered it the in much more depth in this other thread.
