Can I run a 1.5 ton split AC on a 2kw, single phase connection?

No absolutely no, plz check the total load in Kw for a 1.5 Ton AC.As a thumb rule it's considered that,1 Ton = 3.5 kw1.5 Ton = 5.2 kwSo you can't draw a 5.2 kw load from a 2.0 kw connection. And the AC will draw a current around 9–12 Amps, so it may lead to heating of wires n tripping of your mains n it may also burn the service connection cable. So it's better to upgrade your connected load suitably n use 4.0 sq mm. copper wires for AC outlet with power MCB (15/20 Amps) .

What is the maximum current capacity of single phase i.e. maximum load from single phase?

Yes the meter can withstand 13 kw load if the voltage rating of the load is 240 v and the actual voltage is 240 or higher and the power factor of the total load (considering ac system) is 0.93 or higher ( neglecting 2A for safety purpose). Now the voltage drop is totally depends on the impedance of the cable and resistance at terminal joint and internal losses of the meter. So you have to select the cable size with rating of around 100A as a safety consideration. There is a possibility of voltage dip if all the compressor of all the ac start at same time… but since the total air conditioner load is around 8.3 kw .. I think there will be no issue. But as I said do check on the p.f. of the load

Can I install two AC's of 1.5 ton each with a single phase supply of 230 V, 50 HZ?

Single Phase connection is no problem at all. The 1.5Ton AC will also run on single phase only. The only thing you need to worry about is the sanctioned maximum load that you have for your house connection from the electricity distribution utility (This can be verified from the monthly bill). The total load of all the electrical appliances running simultaneously in your house should not exceed this value for 2 reasons: 1. You would be fined / charged extra on exceeding the sanctioned load. 2. The electrical cable supplying the power to your house is usually rated to handle this load value and there is a risk of this cable getting overheated etc.A typical rule of thumb for a 1.5Ton AC on power consumption is 2KW. Hope this helps!

What is the consumption of electricity in 1/2 H.P. motor in one hour?

Energy Consumed is expressed in kiloWatt hour (kWh) or what we commonly call as unitEnergy = Power x Time(for getting Energy in “kiloWatt hour or unit”, make Power in kilo Watts and Time in Hours). So Here,Power = 1/2 H.P or 373 Watts or 0.373 kilo WattsTime = 1 HoursSo Energy (in kWh or Unit) = 0.373 kW x 1 hour = 0.373 kWh or 0.373 UnitNote : 1 H.P = 746 Watts or 0.743 kiloWattPlease support by “UPVOTE”ing if you are satisfied with the answer.
