Is there romance in fullmetal alchemist?
Is there romance in fullmetal alchemist? I heard from a friend who watched it that there isn't really romance but they do kiss, is that true? I'm kind of confused, they kiss but there's no romance?

Nope, not really...although the character "Winry" is supposed to have a slight crush on the main character, Edward (Ed). There's also some kind of link with 2 other characters, but FMA is not an anime that expresses romance that much :] Hope I helped! ^-^

Does fullmetal alchemist have any romance in it??
Actually yes in the manga. They never confessed though. Ed was at the Rockbells with Hawkeye while Winry was fixing his automail. Winry went to another room and Hawkeye asked "U like Winry-chan, don't u edward?". Ed was blushing and looked away and he was counting and memorizing the perodic tables of elemnt out loud. Yes, but not until the very last episode. Ed and Winry end up having kids together, implying that they got married, etc. etc.

No, there's hardly any romance. And Winry is more like a sister to Ed and Al and there's nothing going on between any of them.

Hey guys, would any of you know any good anime like Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood? I'm looking for something to keep me at my toes (leave me in constant excitement like FMAB did). I enjoy an anime that would: -Show some romance at least (even if it's as little as what was shown in FMAB, I just need a tiny bit of romance in it to make it a bit more satisfying) I really enjoy any type of romance in a show, but if the show legit has no tiny hints of romance, it would just bore me. -keep me excited for more, and give me goosebumps. I want to have something where a big plan or big event happens that caused uproar. -have character development.
Which story did you like more, Full Metal Alchemist or Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood?
Fullmetal Alchemist. The story is more serious and got tense. Ed is more adult and not interested in Romance and Al is annoying. Enemies are humans and not just a monster without feeling. Everyone got development unlike Brotherhood. The enemies are strong and plenty, the war started, and the Philosopher's stone being made. The weakness of FMA is the movie. It's making holes because made only to make happier ending. Like why Wrath suddenly commit suicide to help Al, he don't get strong connection to him. Envy who became evil because want love from his real father kill his father without talk. Actually better let FMA ended Envy sealed because want met his father and Wrath not obsessed with Lust or Ed anymore.Brotherhood is good, but lack of enemy and too much friends. All enemies aren't human and not having emotions. Homonculus are not having relationship to their maker here. Scar just a fanatic here. Roy didn't kill Winry's parents so the relation between characters are always good. That's why it lack tense. Everyone got happy end with lack effort. It's a bit disappointing. At beginning it seems will be better than the original because got more characters.
Is there romance between Winry and Edward in the Fullmetal Alchemist Manga?
Yep. They have been in love for a while. One chapter is really funny. The two are standing and Ed is taller! If you read another you would see how she remarks Ed as a man instead of a boy/kid.
Why is Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood considered to be the or one of the best anime? What makes it different from all the other good/popular ones like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, OPM, MHA, Death Note, etc?
Because FMS does just about everything well, romance, action, character, emotion, even horror, and politics, heck even it's comedy isn't BAD.Naruto has the action, character, and emotion, but doesn't even come close to having good romance or politics.Bleach and MHA is pretty much the same although MHA does have some politics.OPM has action, emotion, and comedy, but doesn't have romance and is just to silly to take seriously at times.Death note doesn't have any action, romance, or comedy.One Piece arguably has all these things except romance but much like OPM it's to silly to take seriously at time, sure Brook's backstory is horrifying but when it comes from a talking skeleton with an afro playing the violin you're probably smiling anyways.FMA just has everything, and it does it all pretty well.
