Does Ps4 Also Needs To Install Game Before U Play Just Like U Do In Xbox One

Why is Xbox One taking long to install a game?

everything was smooth until it hit 42% then everything turned slow... I couldnt go on youtube or even change the color of my home screen. and now its stuck at 43%. It's been stuck at 43% for over 45 minutes! Why?? Im installing Dead Rising 3 but this also happened with Titanfall and Watch Dogs. They both took over an hour to install. Why does it take so long and why does it make everything slow! I just want to play! Im regretting getting the Xbox. And don't say that the PS4 is any better, PLEASE!

Do I have to update every game before playing it on Xbox One?

Not every game requires an update each time you play. Updates are only released periodically, usually no more frequently than once a month or so. However, once a game update is available, whether you choose to update a game depends on the game and how you play (i.e., single player vs multiplayer features). Both the Xbox One and PS4 require that you update your games to the latest version to utilize networking features. If you’re wanting to play multiplayer features, then you will need to update. If you’re playing single player campaign mode, you usually don’t need to update. If you choose not to update, the game will not be able to play any multiplayer features and it may be prevented from accessing any networking features, including downloading DLC through the store. However, it is recommended to update your games because bugs could prevent progress at certain sections of the game. This is especially true when it’s a day one newly released game. Day one patches are usually very important in solving important game play bugs. However, you can usually start the download in the background and continue playing single player campaign until the game update has completed downloading. Background downloading does not prevent you from beginning your game while you wait for the patch to finish downloading. However, day one games do require you to copy the game to the hard drive before you can play. This installation can take a while. In this case, you might as well let the game update download at the same time the game is being installed. The installation may finish before your download is finished, depending on download size and your Internet speed. You can then begin playing your game while waiting for the patch download to finish. It’s all really up to you based on how you play your games. The console will tell you what won’t work if you decline to update when starting a game that needs an update. You mentioned Injustice 2 as the game you want to play. You should be able to play this game without updating. Some games do require an internet connection to function. However, based on this Injustice 2 Quora answer, it seems that Injustice 2 will work fine without an internet connection.

Why do Xbox One and PS4 games need disks to be inserted if the games are fully downloaded on the console?

Just like with many older PC games, you install the game data on the hard drive, but you need the game to active you “license” to play the game. It’s all a matter of validating the fact you own the game. Now say if you rent the game from Redbox, and upon returning it, you decide you want to buy the game yourself, you can leave it installed on your console, and then either buy the disc from a retailer, or grab the digital version, and not have to worry about having to reinstall anything. However be cautious with older games, as they can end up being available for free through the Games with Gold Xbox program, or the Instant Games Collection PSN program, or even become a discounted digital sale game after the fact. Either way, it can be annoying having to worry about discs, but in this digital age, it’s simply a way for those with less than stellar, or capped internet to be able to play their games easier.

Xbox One or Playstation 4?

I cant decide which console to get. At the momment Xbox one looks like the better console and more for your money. 400$ for 1TB Xbox one with a game same price as a 500gb PS4. I'm thinking about getting Fifa 16,Fallout 4, maybe BO3 but I'm not really looking into Online play right now with those 2 games. Which console is better in the long run? For online which is better btw? List Your pros and cons.

Do I have to insert the game disc every time I play on Xbox? Is there a way to install the game into the Xbox from the game disc?

Since this question includes both Xbox One and Xbox 360, I will answer for both systems. I will answer the last question first. Is there a way to install the game into the Xbox from the game disc?Every game disc you insert into the Xbox One automatically installs upon insertion. Games on the Xbox 360 do not automatically install. When you insert a game disc on the Xbox 360, you will need to exit the game (which automatically launches) then manually install the game.Once the games are installed on either the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One, your first question applies.Do I have to insert the game disc every time I play on Xbox?Yes, you do. This is required on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One for disc based games. The insertion of the game disc ensures you have the game disc in hand and that you own a copy of the game. Consider the game disc your license to play. Without the disc, you have no license. There is no way around this requirement on disc based games. If you want to play games without the need to insert a disc, you will need to purchase the digital download version of the game through the Xbox Store.

Why do you have to download Xbox One and PS4 games from a disk to the hard drive?

it is mainly about loading times.as the games become much more complex and requires  much more data analyzing, the need for accessing this information in the right time increases. The big reason that games have to be installed on the hard drive is that it’s simply faster to access things from the hard drive compared to the Blu-ray drive. Despite the fact that the Blu-ray drive in the PlayStation 4 is 3 times faster than the one in the PS3, it’s still no match for the hard drive.

PS4 or Xbox One? Need some help deciding.?

Ok, so Xbox is suppose to release in November. Ps4 isn't confirmed. I am unsure of which to go after. I have been a fan of Xbox ever since the beginning. I was not much into the playstation. I didn't like the controller and the whole setup wasn't my thing. From what I've heard, Xbox one really stinks compared to the Ps4. Xbox has the 24 hour conection and the unconfirmed way of selling and lending games. It all seems like they're trying to make it like a computer. Ps4 is the simple gaming console as I expected. Unlike Xbox. Not only that ps4 is a 100 bucks cheapier. So my question is, has anybody heard anything to make me change my mind with potentially going with ps4 instead of Xbox? What are the pros and cons of each of these consoles. All I want is a simple gaming console that can also play Blu ray movies, which both do. Thanks. Any comments will be appreciated.

Does GTA 5 require Internet to install?

If you want to play gta online and if you dont have the copy, so yes It will require an internet connection to install. If you have the gta 5 installtion files, still you will need an internet connection. Because when you will install the game for the first time the game will use internet connection to download some necessary softwares like social club, directx etc.. and you will sign in to your social club account. For signing in you also need an internet connection. After doing all those you can play story mode on gta 5 without an internet connection. Hope I answered your question.
