Dog Vomiting Yellow Liquid

My dog is pregnant and is vomiting up yellow foamy liquid what do i do?

call the vet and don't play with your pet s health!!

Why is my dog vomiting yellow liquid?

Is your dog on any medication? Have they ate anything? My dog was having the same problem when he was alive. I took him right to the vet. Nothing serious was wrong with him. The vet gave him some medicine to calm his tummy and he was fine within a few days. He was back to eating and being active like he usually was.You should take him to the vet just in case. You can never be sure. Just telling you from my experience, but I'm not a vet or anything. I hope your pet feels better!!!

Why does my cat vomit yellow liquid?

If this is a regular thing, and more than just a ‘one-off’ (and is he throwing up normal cat food, also?), a DEFINITE visit to the vet is needed. It could be to do with inflammation of his pancreas. This is something you really don’t want your cat to have - it can be controlled but needs expert treatment and blood tests can be taken. It can affect his liver and kidneys, too, when the enzymes spill out into the abdomen and his digestion goes completely haywire. My cat has it (under control) but uncontrolled, it could kill your cat. Sorry to scaremonger, but I’d rather you checked it out to be sure. My friend’s cat has it too, and it is not that unusual.Unfortunately, once your cat has had treatment for it, your insurance company (if you have pet insurance) may exclude that from its cover in the future, as it is ongoing, but, as I say, it can be controlled.

Why do dogs vomit yellow liquid???????????

This is actually quite common in my breed (Basenjis)...so much that it has a nickname: "The Yellow Urka-Gurkas."

Most of the time, it's associated with the dog having an empty stomach. If he's not doing it on a daily basis, it's not likely a medical problem. REGULAR, frequent vomiting of bile can indeed signal a problem, he'd need to see a vet.

My dogs do it too, occasionally- I found a higher quality food and twice daily feedings has all but eliminated it. My male hasn't done it since I started feeding Innova.

Try splitting his daily food ration in half, and feeding half in the morning, half at night. Give a treat in the middle of the day. If that doesn't solve it, try a higher quality food.

There are Basenjis I know who vomit yellow regardless of changes in diet or feeding schedule, and they have no health problems.....if a change doesn't work and a vet visit reveals no problems, it's likely just something you'll have to live with!

What should I do if my dog is throwing up yellow/white liquid/foam?

This is normally just a bit of stomach acid and it's ok for them to vomit this up, the problem is why they're doing it.One of my two dogs sometimes does this after eating grass, in which case I ignore it. Recently she ate the cap of a water bottle, some of the plastic got stuck, and trying to retch it out some of this foam came out. She also once ate the stuffing from a dog toy and did vomited this about 6 times, and then I was worried, but it was over pretty soon and she was fine. She sometimes also eats fox shit, and then throws it up, and keeps vomiting until there's nothing left except this foam. You can guess that the other dog is my favourite one!If they are sick once or twice and there's not much in it I wouldn't worry, especially if you know the likely cause like one of the above examples. Keep and eye on them and make sure they have some water. If their stomach is sensitive then maybe give them some bland food for the next meal (e.g. scrambled eggs). If they don't have much of an appetite when you next feed them, or if they're lethargic, or if they keep on vomiting, take them to the vet immediately.Better safe than sorry!

Why is my dog's vomit bright yellow like urine and liquidy?

That sounds exactly like typical bile. If you noticed your dog eating grass, then something in her stomach didn't agree quite well with her, and she eats grass, (because she cannot digest it), to throw up what doesn't feel right to her. Sometimes its just food. Sometimes its just a yellow-liquid substance known as bile. It's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. And like you said in your reply, when she does throw up, its just yellow. That's good. My dog has thrown up her whole meal before, whether she ate it too fast, (doesn't have to do with being sick), or something in the ingridients didn't agree with her. So if you see your dog eating grass, just beaware that something didn't work well with the good or water she drank, and try to figure out what she may be eating or drinking that may make her throw up bile. Bile is just part acid in your stomach. It's how your food is able to be digested.
So don't worry. It's normal.
Hope that answered your question.

My dogs throwing up yellow liquid. What do I do?

My dog has been throwing up periodically. Sometimes he does this after he eats, and other times he does it in the morning where it ends up looking like yellow stuff. (I'm assuming bile from the stomach). However, he does not do this all the time. Basically hes fine for a week or two then it starts again, then hes fine for another week or so then is sick again. It seems to be re-occurring. I've had him to the vet because he was sick where he had diarrhea and was throwing up. He doesn't seem to have diarrhea now and he seems to eat when hes hungry. He was on medication for his previous illness, but most was to help with the diarrhea, and hes off of that now. I haven't changed his food and he doesn't get table scraps. What should I do?

Why does my dog vomit yellow bile?

My dog would throw up bile as well. She's 4 now and hasnt done it in about a year. She would most often do it when she wasnt fed at exactly 8am and 5pm everyday for the first couple years of her life. It was yellow, liquid bile and she is a large breed dog.
It's very common in dogs with weak stomachs. I brought her to a nutritionalist and that is what they told me, mostly nothing to worry about unless you start finding stingy stuff in the bile... in which case it could be worms. Your dog just has a very sensitive stomach. Feed her the best foods and make sure she is on a set feeding schedule

What can I do if my dog is throwing up yellow liquids, and wants eat or drink?

Give small amounts of food and water at a time. It sounds like he is vomiting bile because the stomach is empty. If he is able to keep the food and water down, you can increase amounts until you are able to resume normal diet. If vomiting persists, he may need sub q fluids or iv therapy and a antisemetic to stop the nausea. Dehydration will cause additional problems so important to keep him hydrated. Any idea what the cause of vomiting is? May be worth a vet visitif vomiting does not stop, I highly recommend a vet visit.
