Easy Pasta Sauces I Can Make

Easy pasta sauce recipe?

I have to be the worst cook ever but today I feel like making something..easy! I'm going to make cream of chicken soup breast. I thought of pairing it with some pasta but I don't know what kind of sauce will go with chicken. Any suggestions? Garlic noodles? Lemon, butter? Anything easy. Please help as you can see I don't know anything..lol. Thanks!

Can you make chili with pasta sauce?

I've done it and it works fine. I wouldn't use vodka sauce ...lol but a basic marinara or garlic and basil sauce will work fine. The chili powder and other flavors will over power the tomato sauce and you will not even notice the difference.

Can i use salad dressing as a pasta sauce?

I don't have any sauce on hand and cannot go to the store... i have ranch and ceasar salad dressing.. do you think that would mix well with the angel hair pasta I have?

Are there really maggots in candy and pasta sauce?

Listen here's the deal. Organisms & micro-organisms can be found almost anywhere. However, if food is handled properly and stored properly then it is usually free from most contaminents. Regarding "maggots"...they are fly larvae. So, if the food has been inadequately stored, sealed, packaged, then it IS possible. However, unless someone is leaving a candy bar unwrapped and out in the open or leaving the lid off the jar off pasta sauce then your food is probably fine. Regarding "produce" (i.e. mushrooms and other vegetables) they are grown in soil. Some mushrooms are grown in sterile conditions so the chance of pests (bugs) hitching a ride are very rare. However, when you have wild mushrooms as well as other vegetables from the garden, there are chances that you might find a bug once in a while. That is the precise reason you clean them thoroughly before cooking & eating.

Seriously though, what you should be more concerned about are situations like the current peanut butter recall in the U.S. Not all peanut or peanut related products are contaminated just certain one's from a specific company in Georgia. The managers knew that their products were contaminated with salmonella. They had positive tests that proved it. They tried to find another laboratory to give them negative readings. But they didn't care either way and shipped out the peanut butter and peanut by-products KNOWING that they could potentially sicken or kill innocent people. Now that is something to really worry about. Those losers need to be put in jail!

Can i make pasta sauce without tomato paste?

saute the onions in a little bit of butter, after they turn see through add the garlic, saute for another minute or 2 then add the canned whole tomatos cook down for about 20 minutes on medium heat to seriously soften and break down the tomato. stir frequently so nothing sticks, add a little bit of seasoning, I prefer italian seasoning (premade) but you can use basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, and a little bit of sugar to decrease the acidity, mix in a little of the olive oil to make more volume of the sauce (not lot just enough to make it a little saucier, then simmer for about 10 minutes to get everything all blended flavor wise, also do not add oil to your pasta water it makes sauce slide off the noodles!!! to make sure it doesnt stick together just make sure you have plenty of water to cook the pasta in...I actually prefer to make this sauce instead of using the paste...I use it on pasta, chicken, meatballs, etc...you can make an awesome chicken parmasean with it!! good luck
