Eclipse Customization Ideas

Cool customizations for my car?

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. I want to customize it for cheap. Just different things, for example: floor mats, steering a wheel cover, radio, etc.

Small, inexpensive things like that. Any ideas to make my car more special and stand out more?

Mitsubishi eclipse from the fast and the furious?

There was a book IIRC was called "The Cars of the Fast and The Furious" by Eddie Paul, the guy who built them. It has every bit of information you need to clone that abortion.

If you play the DVD, and freeze frame the scene where you see it with the hood up, you'll note it's powered by a 420a. (Which I've seen 1000, at least). It is NOT a 4g63t (which I own five of NOW)

The best scene in the movie was when it exploded. I HATE those miserable oil leaking, window rattling, ball joint breaking pieces of sh1t.

What is the best resource to learn how to customize Eclipse IDE and develop your own plugins?

ibm developer works ( http://www.ibm.com/developerwork... ) does offer a comprehensive one.Apart from the official doc ( http://www.eclipse.org/articles/... ),  some other ones which i found interesting are : http://www.vogella.com/articles/...http://onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2...Hope you enjoy building one :)

Does anyone know how to or where to get a custom model of a modified car? (hellaflush)?

This is difficult but not impossible -
You will need to obtain a scale model civic similar to this:
http://www.hlj.com/product/REV02389
You will also need to visit a local chapter of a scale model building club or IPMS and inquire about commission builders.
Here is a vid on what this builder will have to do so be prepared to pay $$$$ for customization or less $$ if the car model is built out of the box without modifications

The kits used here are either Fujimi, Hasegawa or Tamiya

Do serious developers use eclipse and how does it compare to Emacs/VIM/VI users?

Eclipse is an IDE; vim/emacs are powerful text editors.Certain languages and frameworks work better in an integrated environment: Java is the most obvious example, and in general compiled languages benefit from integration with tools specifically designed with that ecosystem.Where vi/emacs are used often are with interpreted and scripting languages, where plain text files are commonplace and these editors allow for a greater degree of customization and better text manipulation/editing capabilities. It's not a matter of developer seriousness or skill, just the right tool for the job.

What is better, Android Studio, Eclipse, or NetBeans for Android development?

I have used both Android Studio and Eclipse but not Netbeans so I don't know anything about it and hence will be discussing Android Studio and Eclipse based on my experience.Let's compare both depending on the major aspects :1. Code Completion or HintThe code completion and hint given by android studio is much better than eclipse. If you are thinking on switching from eclipse to android studio you will never miss eclipse for its Ctrl+space and if you haven't used eclipse and are switching to eclipse, you will surely miss android studio. This feature saves a lot of your precious time and you will never get bored.2. Interface Design ToolDesigning your application's interface is lot easier in android studio. Its interface design tool is faster and respond to changes more rapidly and has more customization options and is more user friendly than the one in eclipse. Beginners will love to design their application's interface with android studio's interface design tool.3. Build ToolsBoth android studio and eclipse uses different type of build systems. After android studio is launched it takes 2 minutes for loading poject, modules and indexing and 1-2 minute to build your applications for first time. Eclipse don't take that much time to build your application and hence can be said faster and better.4. Project organisationBoth IDEs work differently in managing and organising the projects. In eclipse workspace contains the projects. In android studio there is a concept of modules. Each modules can have their own gradle build files. I found both IDEs equally good.ConclusionI found Android Studio more easy and efficient to use and its interface better than eclipse. Even though it takes time to build the project for first time, it's code completion, hints and Interface design tool outweighs that. For more information you can also visit:https://www.airpair.com/android/...http://www.avocarrot.com/blog/an...

What are the best cars to customize or tune that can also go very fast?

There is no Eclipse with a 3000GT engine, so I have no idea what that other poster was thinking.

That said, you DO NOT want a car like on Fast and the Furious.

Go read about those cars.

They were stock vehicles, mostly, that were just made to sound as if they were driving fast.

In short, they're imitation fast cars.

Otherwise, search google for car modification sites. There's millions of them. Spend some time, and do some research, and come up with your own list.

It's not rocket science.

But seriously, if you want to be taken seriously, NEVER mention Fast and Furious when talking about car modification.

It's like referring to the Police Academy movies, when talking about wanting to be a police officer......

Also, don't you already HAVE a car?

Modify that, instead of buying something new.

Which Java IDEs do professionals use?

Eclipse , Idea and NetBeans. IntelliJ paid version is good. Again if using IDE learn the keyboard shortcuts and all the features like code complete, intellisense, debugger, formatter, even code scanners etc. IDE increase the code value but you need to learn them.Lastly if you don't know how to code or debug or profile, they are useless

I really want to buy the 07 Mitsubishi Eclipse, but I don't know if this would be a smart investment? HELP!!!

I test drove the '07 Eclipse.... I fell in love. The body of this car it's just sweet. It goes with my personality and I really want to buy it. This car is priced at $18,500 & I am willing to pay this price simply because I think is a good looking car. I have heard bad things about Mitsubishis. Friends are telling me it is NOT a reliable car. Can someone please tell me if Mitshubishis are indeed BAD unreliable vehicles? Should i purchase this car or should i just go with the Scion TC?
I appreciate any responses. Thank you
