Engraving A Watch I Need Some Ideas

Ideas for engraving a pocket watch wedding present?

Men can be weird about engraving. I've found that a lot of them prefer non-engraved things. For example, my hubby got a really nice flask for being his roomie's best man, and it was engraved with the wedding date and the couple's names. He actually tried to see if it could be de-engraved!

Your situation is a bit different, obviously. I think it might be nice to put something on the back, but if it was me, I'd simply put the date of the wedding. But if your fiance is more openminded about these things, you could always simply put Love, Julie on it.

What should i get engraved on my boyfriends watch?

Basically im getting my boyfriend a watch for xmas. When xmas comes along we would have been together for 2 months :) i know its only a short time, but as far as im concerned he's the only one in my life not to have screwed me over. And i want to keep it that way :) lol. anyways back to the point: i wanted to get something engraved on the back of the watch, it cant be too long and i kinda want it to be something original but not too lovey dovey :) any ideas? thanks a lot in advance.

Any engraving suggestions for the inside of a pocket watch?

make it personal. you can go with a quote, but anybody can do that. You're already giving him something special so make the inscription special as well. I'm sure you'll have no problem with that. My dad used to have one with a date in it. Not sure what that date meant, but it seemed to mean a lot to him.

What should I engrave on my boyfriend's watch?

I'm giving my boyfriend a beautiful Bulova watch for his birthday Tuesday and my plan was to drop it off at the engravers tomorrow to have it inscribed but I'm drawing absolute blanks. We've been together nearly two years so I want something meaningful, not corny. Any ideas for be great!

What should I have engraved on my boyfriend's watch?

I am purchasing a watch for my boyfriend and I would like to have the back engraved. I'm stuck on what to have engraved on the back though. Any suggestions? The allowance for the engraving is two lines, 15 characters each.

I was thinking maybe "Forever+Always" with our anniversary date on the second line.

Or "Love Never/Fails" (fails has to go on the second line)

I want something along these lines. Any unique suggestions?

Thanks!

What should I have engraved on my boyfriend's watch?

I personally like the initials idea. It makes it personal for him. Plus if he wants to pass it down to someone one day, it makes more sense to have his initials. Put the love note on the card or something. For some reason it feel awkward to have a love note on a watch. Looks better on a piece of jewelry. Good luck.

Please help! I need ideas on what to engrave on my daughters ipod...I want to make it special thxs so much! :)?

"I love you more than you love this ipod"
"It's the thought that counts"
"Merry Christmas to my lovely daughter"

Just an idea; maybe you can download her first song on there. Something like "Jingle Bells". Or put a voice recording on it for her. (: That would be very nice.♥

What would you suggest I engrave on a watch as a gift to my boyfriend? I was thinking something like “Don’t forget” plus the date of when we first met. Any ideas?

My problem is that “Don’t forget (our anniversary)” could sound like you want to be sure he celebrates that date. You could do “(your name) + (his name)” followed by the date, that’s friendlier.A watch is a wonderful gift. You might say something sweet and old-fashioned, like “I love time with you” or something like that, space permitting of course.Or you could fall back on the classic, “With my love, (whatever pet name he calls you, or if that would be embarrassing when his friends see it, your actual name)”When I do something permanent like an engraving, I try to think about whether it would be misinterpreted or mocked if someone who doesn’t like me saw it, or how I might feel about it in the far future when circumstances change. This isn’t a happy thought, but it helps with phrasing things. ;)
