My new puppy is NOT crying on his first night at home.....??????
My new 9 wk lhasa (very well raised & in the middle of his litter in personality) is sleeping in his mini ex pen in my living room. He fell asleep there so I let him stay when I went to bed b/c he had already pottied and was done with food/water for the day. I set my alarm for 4 hrs & woke up to take him potty. He peed outside, I brought him back in and put him in his pen with 6 pieces of kibble, which he promptly ate. I stroked him then left the room. He whimpered lightly for 15 sec then nestled in. I had set up a very small crate by my bed with intentions of him sleeping there as I figured he'd be quiet & calm if he could see me. Doesn't seem necessary with this boy. My old dog sleeps in my bed but no other dog will ever do the same. When this pup is grown & FULLY trained he will be allowed to sleep on the floor of my room in a nice doggy bed. IS IT OKAY FOR HIM TO CONTINUE TO SLEEP IN THE EX PEN IN TV ROOM SINCE HE IS COMFORTABLE? IS THIS GOOD OR BAD FOR HIM?

Don't you have any mutual friends who may know where your ex boyfriend is living or perhaps contact a family member and explain the situation? Does he have a job or go to college? In any case I suggest filing a report with the police and would advise against dating him even to deceive him into giving the dog back because you don't want to open a door back into a relationship where you say the person scares you and is crazy. Your personal safety should come first, while still exhausting every other means to trace the Yorkshire Terrier.
How can i see my dog when my ex wife wont let me?
My ex wife and i have been divorced for 2 years. We got along fine for the past 2 years, but now she is mad over me and her brother getting close again. She feels like i am trying to steal her family from her which is absolutley absurd. We have 2 dogs, one which was hers before the marriage and one which we got together and raised. Now she wont let me see OUR dog. I have built a strong bond with him and he gets so happy to see me when i come pick him up. I am really attached to this dog, but when we got divorced there was no mention of either dogs as anyones personal property. Can i still file for shared custody OUR dog, or am i basically screwed here. Im hoping maybe she comes around and stops being this way, but frankly i wouldnt count on it. What can i do? If i just take him fromt he backyard one day is that considered theft? Do i have a case in court? Any suggestions?

You need to hire a lawyer and get a restraining order. You are going to have to take him to court. If the dog is registered under his name then technically it his his property. However, you can try to prove your ownership through showing vet bills you've paid, that the microchip is in your name, ect... This is a better question for the legal section.

See if you can figure out his schedule and try to get her back safely. Have someone else do it. Then you need to microchip her: SAME DAY. If he keeps on with the texts and other stuff get the restraing order right away: what is stopping you? Just call and tell them you MUST have an emergency appointment or something... do/say whatever it takes to get in there the same day. It only takes as long as getting your puppy a shot and it 100% establishes YOU as the owner. Hope you can resolve this, Sweetie!! :)
