The criteria is too subjective, and musical genres too wide-ranging to offer up any one answer as the definitive one, regardless of how passionate one's opinion might me. People answering this question seem to be interpreting it, probably rightly, as a question about physical beauty, as though that were what matters about someone whose job is singing. In other words, “singer” is just ancillary, and responsible for the person’s visibility: this is an invitation to objectify women.And certainly there are singers who happen to sing exquisitely while being physically beautiful.
