Feminism during the Enlightenment!?
I'm writing an essay about the differences in feminism during the Enlightenment, and modern times. So essentially I want to know: What are the major differences in woman's rights and feminism during the 17th century and now? What are some feminist writers from the age of enlightenment.?
Why might some women be critical to the enlightenment?
The women who ran salons during the period of the enlightenment were critical to its development, they were hostesses to writers, philosophers, artists, composers, and to the nobility as well, and they provided an atmosphere in which intellectual discussion could flourish.
