Fictitious Fighters Like Superheroes Cyborgs Wizards Etc

Why do we call Batman and the Bat-Family superheroes?

In the definition you provided, extraordinary power. Well, Batman's willpower, determination, and minds are above others. Superman respects and identifies Batman as the best.

EDIT: Fine, defend the earth from alien invasions, took on Darkseid.

Fine.

For starters, Superman acknowledges Batman as a Superhero, how's that for starters?

He does not need superpowers - He's got BRAINS!! Batman is way more intelligent than most of the other heroes that have powers. "Batman has NO LIMITS".

He's always doing good.

In Grant Morrison's first storyline in JLA, Superman describes Batman as "the most dangerous man on Earth," able to defeat a team of superpowered aliens all by himself in order to rescue his imprisoned teammates. He is also a master of disguise, often gathering information under the identity of Matches Malone, a notorious gangster.

And by the definition of a superhero: "a fictional character of unprecedented prowess dedicated to acts of derring-do in the public interest". What is Batman?

A FICTIONAL character. Superheroes defined by their fictitious nature, therefore fictional superheroes are the only true superheroes. If he was real he would not be classed as a true superhero, just a really cool vigilante.

Also, he came out around the same time as Superman. Showing that you do not need superpowers to be a Superhero if you have the will to do good and help people.

You ask me why Watchmen isn't a movie about superhero and you'll get the same answers.

Superheroes are people who continue to do good, heroes are people who do good once. Batman has been doing this game since 1937.

Powers don't make the hero, the hero makes the powers.

Let’s see:In the corner to my left you have:An Alien from a highly civilized planet in the other side of the galaxy who defies almost every law of physicA guy who got hit by a lightening bolt and made physics cryA guy who wears a ring. Oh, and the ring has a in-built 3d printer. And can make him survive in space. And makes him fly. And gives him super speed to travel to the center of the universe in a matter of days. Or hours.A beautiful gal who is a goddess of Greek mythology. Or an immortal warrior. Or a demigod. I’m actually not clear on that part.A cyborg created out of alien tech and a stubborn football playerA Martian. Yep that’s right. I guess he apparently arrived in Elon’s TeslaAnd on the corner to my right we have:a Nazi fighter who gained 200 lbs and freakish kung fu skills when his fellas hit him up with some freakish steroids. Oh and those same steroids made someone else’s face turn red. Then the dude somehow survived a century in ice and woke up as good as new. But his face still hasn’t turned red.Thor. Yep them lazy aholes actually took a character straight out of mythology and made it their own.A dude with glasses who turned into a big green monster who can’t die no matter what. And he can travel through space and survive. Oh and did I mention he turned into him cause of atomic radiation? Cuz that makes perfect sense! I guess the Japs are hiding a bunch of Hulks of their ownA nerdy teen who gets bit by a spider. Everything that follows is utter bullshit.A whole horde of people led by a dude in a wheelchair who have freakish powers like laser eyes, telepathy and metal blades sticking outta their fists. Cuz why not?A brick man, a flame head, a disappearing girl and a guy who really knows how to stretch. A bunch of weirdos who went to space, got superpowers and started calling themselves fanstastic! Now, before you say anything, I don’t hate comics, I actually enjoy the superhero genre. But it would be stupid to see that this is realistic. The above are just some of the countless other freakish things in both comics. Both DC and Marvel are not realistic. But that’s the whole point of comics! Hell that’s the whole point of fiction! Stories that are not realistic. That’s why people like comics. They tell wild and weird stories. Comparing them is pointless. The chance of a guy becoming Hulk are the same as the chances of a Superman.Next to none

1. The Justice League. DC ComicsThe Justice League is the largest organization of superheroes in the Multiverse, with divisions reaching each populated continent of Earth. The Inhumans. Marvel ComicsThe Inhumans are a incredibly advanced human race of superheroes, created by the Kree with the aim of erradicating the Skrulls in the Kree/Skrull War. The race has existed for some time and has led to powerhouse superheroes such as Captain Marvel, one of Marvel Comics leading superheroes.5. The Avengers. Marvel ComicsThe Avengers are a diverse international organization of superheroes. Much alike to the Justice League, the Avengers have made influences beyond Earth as well as a plethora of powerful beings included (such as The Norse God of Thunder, Thor Odinson and the Hulk.) While they are not necessarily as large as the Justice League in membership, they still have had a large impact upon the Marvel universes. Thanks for the A2A!

Why do mma fighter trash single styles?

Ok as in all things never label everyone as anything. The problem exists in that as long as man has been we have all tried to be competitive. And now in modern times this competitive nature has come by the most widely recognized sport - Martial Arts.
There has always been 2 sides to every story, like neg and pos ying and yang.
MMA is the very same coin as MA, just that the folks in that sport have a differing energy. This is the energy of Yang principle. To overcome, win at all cost.
Whereas the Ying would have a more gentle approach. Jiu Jitsu was this gentle approach as was AiKiDo, but when you place them in this manly competitive arena the Yang comes out and these peaceful arts become aggresive. That was why there has always been a code of conduct in place with these skills. To control the folks in it with a personal belief in Honor etc... Now the thought is simply to win by overcoming your opponent with force. The old ways teach to first try to overcome with wit, and know that the best victory we can all have is by winning over a friend rather that destroying an enemy. So if you keep the 2 seperate I am all for it. The fighters represent the Yang of Martial Arts. The Hard side of it all. And you have to admit we all watch it, and Love It. Now if we all could just understand that if we are bent on destroying a single part of this cycle, then in the end it all sux. You like this and I that. That's why we today have it soooooo good. Choose what you like and grow in it. Just realize that in all of it, there is 2 sides. And we need both.

Information on Jack Russell Terriers?

Jack Russell Terriers are very high strung dogs...the one I have chews EVERYTHING...when he's left alone...I would suggest you get a crate. They bore very easily. I would rotate the toys....giving her only a couple at at time....and swap them out...making them seem new and exiciting.....having a small space of it's own seemed to be the answer for my JRT. Would even go to her crate for naps when we were home....If there are no windows in your bathroom...I would definately find another place for the her to stay....because a dog sleeps an average of 20 hours a day anyway....crating is not nearly as "mean" as it sounds....they really don't care! The radio or a ticking clock is a great idea....remember...JRT's were bread to hunt..and digging is a huge part of their breeding nature.....I build a small 4 x 6 area that is hers to dig....she gets dirty...but she exerts a ton of energy this way...and then gets a bath and goes to sleep! Good luck....and have lots of patience...she needs it!

In the film you see German soldiers walking towards the fictitious Ferrier and there is no escape from being made a prisoner of war. However this really happened. The differences were that the aircraft shot down but was landed with the wheels up which is much safer not knowing how firm the surface is. And the pilot Al Deere escaped.Connecting People Through NewsAnd apparently another one flown by Pilot Officer Kenneth Hart who did set fire to his aircraft and escaped to fly again. And I just found another two amazing incidents.WW2 Spitfire shot down over Dunkirk on sale for £2.5mTwo aircraft landing on the beaches were recovered and restored. Squadron Leader Geoffrey Stephenson and also Flying officer Peter Cazenove are both reported to have ended up in Colditz Castle POW camp. What a coincidence that two Spitfires were shot down, ended up on the beaches to be recovered years later, and both pilots ended up in the same POW camp which itself was legendary. The Spitfire lost for almost 50 YearsWhich is more interesting, fact or fiction? It seems that the incident in the film is a compilation of several similar incidents.

Just curious about DC comics vs marvel??

1. Imperiex or beyonder? Imperiex
2. Quicksilver vs Flash? Not fair fight. Quicksilver but he really is a good/bad guy.
3. Mr Fantastic vs Iron man (both super smart)? Too close to call.
4. Orion vs Thor? Probably Thor for the opposite reason of number 2. Quicksilver has cheated. Vs. Flash that might work. Orion doesn't exactly cheat but he doesn't have Thor's moral authority either.
5. New Mutants vs Teen titans New Mutants.
6. Aquaman vs Namor Namor. Again, a good/bad guy/
7. hawkeye vs green arrow. Too close to call. Hawkeye is much more Bourgeoise than Green Arrow, but he's also somewhat more of a fighter too. Green Arrow, though, is smart enough so this is one case where it might not be more of an advantage.
8. elektra vs catwoman Catwoman. Hands down.
9. My fantastic vs plastic man Plastic Man. In Hawkeye vs. Green Arrow, Hawkeye's qualities are not always a good fighter but they work for him there. Here you have the same relative qualities -- Mr. Fantastic is a Family man with traditional values, versus an utter bohemian? Who fights too? Plas will SCHOOL Mr. Fantastic.
10. silver surfer vs superman Superman. If Silver Surfer even consents to fight him. Silver Surfer.
11. galactus vs doomsday Galactus.
12. Lobo vs wolverine Wolverine
13. cyborg vs iron man Iron Man
14. deathstroke vs deadpool No comment
15. hawkman vs thor Thor
16. mongul vs hulk No comment
17. bizarro vs frightful mr fantastic Bizarro
18. Captain Marvel vs Black Bolt Captain Marvel.
19. Green Latern vs Captain America Green Lantern
20. black canary vs spiderman Probably spiderman but I'm not really sure.
21. Punisher vs Batman Batman
22. captain america vs 3d man Captain America
23. darkseid vs onslaught Darkseid. No question.
24. Rogue( absorbed Mrs marvel) vs Wonder woman Wonder Woman

I'll pass on the last two. For 26 my answers should be obvious. For 25 I don't know.

Terorrism term came from 1793-4 Reign of Terror in France. In that time the France leader, Maximillien de Roberspierre kill about 40.000 people alleged as revolution criminal. From this event, the term terrorism actually reffered to the state not individual or group. The term developed by time. Black Hand organization which assasinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand then trigger WW I or Lehi who killed Count Folke Bernadotte in Palestine is two main example of terrorism acts. Irish Republican Army (IRA) formed in 1919 also take a part in terrorism act. Even those kind of terrorist organization exist, but the disscussion is not as massive as today after 9/11 tragedy. 9/11 is the turning point why terrorism today become global issue. The term 'war on terror' firstly came from George Bush Jr. also helping this issue spreading globally. In short, terrorism is politically-motive spreading of fear by violence on sporadic target. It could be did by state nor individual or group. It is actually more reffered as act than as an organization. So, the terrorist not just ISIS or Boko Haram, if Murica or Ruskie (for example) kill the civillian to gain their interest, it also classified as terrorism.
