First Time Makeup Shopping Help

How do I do makeup for the first time for a friend's wedding? What products should I buy?

buy a good blush peach or pink on your preference , a good mascara and a good branded lipstick. By saying good I mean costly. Costly makeup last long and use a bb cream as a base . Your done. Red or orange lipstick would go well though pink is the all time favorite. You can also use lipstick as a blush. It's a minimal makeup look . You can use it as everyday makeup too

How do you go about wanting to wear makeup as a guy? I'm not talking like full on. I'm just saying like foundation and maybe some eye liner. Where do I go about finding the right one for my skin and without that much judgement.

I will recommend two places for you, based on years of personal experience. The first one, as you may have guessed from the photo above, is Sephora. They have makeup artists who work there and believe me they are SO non-judgemental that you won’t feel self-conscious at all. I would go even further and say that the makeup artists at Sephora will encourage you to wear whichever makeup products you wish. I am treated extremely well at Sephora and I’ve been shopping there for many years. There’s a makeup station at each Sephora where you can sit down, relax, and be color-matched for foundation, blush, bronzer, or any number of other makeup products. The makeup artists genuinely want to be helpful and there’s no pressure to make a purchase at any time.My other recommendation is the Nordstrom Beauty Department. I shop there as well and I’m treated like a V.I.P. customer as soon as I enter the store. The level of service at Nordstrom is the Gold Standard worldwide - I am constantly amazed at the positive attitude the sales associates at Nordstrom show to customers. You can approach literally any beauty counter in the store and be matched for any makeup products you wish. Again, no pressure to make a purchase.I’ve been given free samples of makeup and skin care products at both Nordstrom and Sephora, and I’ve made many purchases at both stores. For me personally, the hands-on approach works far better than my watching YouTube videos, though those are available too, of course. There are many books on makeup application too, and here are two of the more popular ones:More men wear makeup than you might realize. I strongly recommend Bobbi Brown cosmetics, which I use myself. They are highly rated, and on a man’s face many of her products look great.

I think my Husband lied to me for the first time, over nothing...How should I confront him without fighting?

My husband and I agree on telling the truth completely to each other, no matter what. We have been married for 2+ blissful years, and he has been an ideal husband.
But today for the first time, I had this deep knot in my stomach when he told me over the phone that His meeting was running late, and the lunch with his daughter, him and me would have to be canceled. I won't go into specifics of what he said, but I just knew he was lying. I know he was telling just a little white lie to not hurt my feelings since his daughter doesn't really like me and always tries to get us to squabble(e.g. Last time we took her out to lunch and go shopping she commented on how my lip liner was done wrong and I looked like a hooker...mind you, It was not in anyway hookerish, I responder "...and why am I going to take any advise from a 17 year old who doesn't even know how its supposed to look, your father has never had any problems with it" Actually I always gotten compliments on my makeup...

I can't leave the house without wearing makeup... help please!?

Okay, here's the thing. I'm 14, turning 15 in a week... I'm a freshman in high school. This year, (this past summer) I started wearing makeup. It started off as just some pencil eyeliner on the bottom lid, and now it's gone to:
*pencil on the bottom lid
*liquid eyeliner on the top lid
*mascara
*foundation (BareMinerals - three step foundation. first it's the actual foundation, then a blush-type thing, then a "mineral veil" for added coverage)
*lip gloss/lipstick

I feel so... fake and unnatural with all this on. But, I can't even go for a walk around the neighborhood without it on, let alone anywhere else! Because when I'm wearing makeup, I get looks from guys, and random people on the street have even come up to me and told me I'm pretty.

But I don't think I'm pretty without it on. So I'm scared that people will be staring, but not because I'm pretty, but because they're thinking "ew. she's so hideously disgusting looking." I just feel like it's the makeup that's doing all this for me.

But I can't stand putting all of it on every morning, taking it all off. My mom gets upset because it takes me so long in the morning to get ready, and I'm often almost late to school. I want to be able to get up in the morning, take a shower, skip the half-hour long makeup application, and just leave for school the way I am.

I may be going to the store later today... I haven't gone to the store without makeup in about a year. So I'm thinking, why not start today? But I can't seem to build up the courage. Should I do it?

Any helpful tips will be much appreciated! Thank you!

How much should I spend on back to school shopping?

Hey girl! My name is Kendall and I'm in 8th grade so I know all about this

1. Yes, take your purse. I always put my cell phone down and sometimes forget it in stores!

2. It kinda depends on what you want to by, but i think $200 sounds pretty good :-)
Shirts: 4-5ish
Sweaters: None! The winter stuff isn't in yet
Jeans: 3ish pairs
Shoes: Sounds good but get a decent pair of running shoes (nike shoxs) for gym
Jewelry: Whatever you like! But rememver to take it off for gym.
Makeup: Whatever you feel comfortable with. Lip gloss, mascara,...

But I won't waste my money at Sephora. I think they are way to over-priced. Maybelline makes great eye liner!

Good luck shopping! :-)

When is the best time to go shop at Walmart for cosmetics?

first thing in the morning, or before lunch, they have to re-stock before they leave for the day, never go at night, seen first hand how they come in and smear it all over their faces and lips, pretty disgustting, as far as the germs go...who wants to put on makeup after it has been all over germy faces and lips right

What makeup products do beginners need?

hi i want to start wearing makeup but i dont want to spend too much money on it. and because i am just starting, i have no idea what products i need as a beginner. so what are the products in general that i will need. i only want the absolute essentials cos as i said i dont want to spend all my money on makeup.

so do i need eyeliner? whats the best type for beginners?
do i need eyeshadow? what colours are best for beginners?
do i need foundation? or concealer?
and what brushes do i need. preferably the brushes that can be used for more than one thing so that i dont have to buy 10 brushes. maybe 3/4 brushes?
etc..

i dont really need specific brands or product names, just what type of makeup products i need as a beginner to create a natural look.

thanks in advance!
