Could Superman pick up Thor's hammer?

Yes he can, Or I should say *surprise* he had actually lifted and wielded Thor's hammer i.e Mjolnir.Lifting and wielding Thor's Hammer are two different things.according to enchantment by Odin: "Whosoever holds this hammer, if (s)he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."You can lift the hammer but that doesn't mean you are worthy enough to summon its power (Like Vision did in Avengers: age of Ultron)If you can lift it, is the first indicator that you MIGHT be worthy. Not everyone is worthy enough to hold it and wield its power. This is not Superman’s case. In the 2003-2004 fangasm that was JLA/Avengers, Superman uses both Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer in the final battle against Krona. At the end of the epic crossover JLA/Avengers, Thor has been felled by the forces of uber-bad guy Krona. So it’s up to Superman to save the day, which he does holding Captain America’s shield, and Thor’s Hammer. Is there any question that Superman – of all the heroes in the DC universe – wouldn’t be “worthy?”.However, When the battle with Krona was over Superman was unable to lift Thor's hammer. The reason given by Thor is:"There is an enchantment 'pon my hammer laid by my father Odin. It is not... easily lifted by others. My father is stern, Superman. But not stupid. A very few worthies have been allowed to over come the spell, in desperate hours. But know this. Perhaps it was but briefly... but it was in good hands."Apart from Superman there are other wielders of Mjolnir; *SPOILER ALERT* even Caps wielded Mjolnir.Peace !! :)
