Verizon fios problems .... ?
Id you have the 'media center' setup or other, turn off ALL your boxes, cable router if you fios internet which you probably do, turn the power back on to the router while holding the reset, let it dcycle up and then hit reset again ad turn it off, do this again and count to 30 with the power off and the reset button being held down. The turn your router back on, and unplug your cable boxes 1 at a time, starting with the master, or the one with the most stuff like dvr and HD, count to 30 plug it back in, leave the other boxes unplugged NOT OFF and power up the one box, if you get a bunch of falshing in the beginning and the number sections goes 'haywire' your box is resetting itself, if it doest work, go and plug each of your cable boxes in leaving the last one on as you go along, if you still have the problem go back to the 1st ox and disconnect it from the wall 9or the back) and count to 30, plug it baqck in, if you still have this problem call verizon and tell them your boxes need to be reflasheed and your TV is showing a code of 8801? or something ike that (I forget the exact number but it's defiitely 8XXX code ad have them reflash your boxes, you can usually have them do this is you sign in online and pick live chat, thye can do it for you if their in the the modd to do it otherwise youll be shipped to tech support and tell them the real problem, dont tell them you have a code on your TV, that is just to bypaqss all the BS they are going to make you do to figure out you eed to reflash your boxes. last resort is check your garage for the back up battery pack and make sure all the lights are good and it's on, all green lights no red. That sould help you. Your boxes are contolled by the same linbe that brings in internet. Hads the same problem myself after a lightning storm in Lakewood Ranch FL 2 weeks ago.
