Hello Monkey_King_XIII, Let me tell you little about myself, I am a 17 year old male who is has been currently been attending college for about 2 years. Let me tell you now I'm no genius, just incredibly fortunate/unfortunate. I am a math major so naturally my punctuation, grammar, and spelling at times is absolutely horrid. I thank the man who invented spell check like most people thank the calculator everyday. Interest: Sports,Sports, Sports, and um......oh yeah! Sports! Mainly watch soccer, basketball, and football. Any sport is fun to play in my opinion, as long as your playing with others at your skill level. Books: Not big on reading, but am currently loving some of the philosophical text that I am being assigned:(Plato, Boethius, Dostoevsky). Animals: Monkey/dog/turtle--->changes all the time though Music: Really haven't been able to get into music because I really don't like what's mainstream, which is what is usually what I hear. My friends have given my a list of groups that I should listen too, currently of the ones I like include: Arcade Fire, MGMT, Kayne West, and Neutral Milk Hotel. Games: I'm a sucker for anything Pokemon I have to admit. It's what I grew up with and it's what i turn to when I need a 10-15 min breather.I'll every now and then pick up a Mario game, but that's all i really use the ds for. Along with the 3ds I purchased, I also got SSF4. I also own a play station that has been getting a little dusty ever since I sold my COD games. Where do you find your 3Ds friend code?
Someone said I had to click the orange icon on the touch screen and select my Mii, but all I see is a bunch of question marks where my code should be. Am I doing something wrong..?
Where's my 3DS Friend code?
I was so confused by this too and it's super easy. When you're in the main menu or "home menu" click on the square orange smiley face in the top row of icons. This is your friends list, once you've gone through the tutorial scroll over or click on your mii character profile. It should show your mii character bouncing around and say online or offline. Look at the top screen and it will show a larger version of this with your name and friend code underneath. You just have to look at the top screen. I got lost in the bottom screen :)
How do you find a friend code on the Nintendo 3DS?
You recieve one from people you know elsewhere. Because of the large number of kids who use Nintendo consoles, Nintendo did not allow a matching system; it's really intended for people you know in person.
Incorrect Nintendo 3DS friend code?
So I'm trying to add a friend on my 3DS, but even though he double checked his code several times, it's still incorrect. Does it have anything to do with the fact that he lives in the US, and I'm in Norway? Are friend codes region locked? Or is there another reason?

are you sure you re giving us the right friend code maybe your typing it too fast or if you are typing it too fast you maybe switching a number or 2 without even noticing thats happened to me before but other than that I honestly dont know EDIT: Just out of curiosity are you not in the US? The 3DS is region locked so supposebly if you have a foreign 3DS then us in NA wont be able to add you, you would only be able to add ppl of your own region.
