Gaining Weight In Job Or Leave

Why am I gaining weight?

I used to eat fast food every day, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. I ate huge quantities of bad foods. I didn't exercise at all. I was not gaining weight, but I needed to lose.

I started a diet/lifestyle change. I started eating lots of fruits and veggies in 4 small meals per day. Brown rice, beans, lean meats. Limited light dressings. I started exercising cardio only and the first week went great. I started drinking water, not pop. I was losing weight and feeling energetic.

On day 7, I had lost 4.5# and I felt so great about it.

One day later, I was 1# heavier. Still the same today, 3 days later.

What the heck? I must be eating way less salt now. My stomach is bloated and so much bigger that I can't even button my fat pants now.

Why am I gaining weight and getting bigger?

How do I leave ketogenic diet without gaining weight? I always gain once I try to leave it even if I eat less than 1600cal daily, now I'm stuck on it.

Biochemically and physiologically speaking, you can’t “leave keto” withouth gaining weight. In layman’s terms: what happens when you first go on a ketogenic diet is that your body uses up all of its glycogen stores, of which also releases water. There is roughly 1–2 molecules of water per corresponding unit of glycogen. Usually people store about 1–3 pounds or more of water along with all this glycogen; when you “carbo-load” (on “cheat days”) or otherwise consume any significant source of carbs, your body will store not only glycogen but also water. The weight you gain won’t be fat, but water.

Why am I gaining weight on a vegan diet?

There is no one simple answer to this question but some things that you might consider are the following:1. Processed food of any description can be fattening (vegan included) as there are often hidden fats and sugar in them.2.  Someone gaining weight (vegan or not) may well be insulin resistant which results in the hormone insulin being stored as fat. If this is the case, it is necessary to avoid foods that have a high glycemic index.  These include starchy foods such as bread, potatoes and cakes; white products such as white flour, white rice, sugar and also vegetables with a high starchy or high sugar content. 3.  Wheat is a well known irritant to the gut and can result in internal inflammation.  It is difficult to digest and can leave the body feeling sluggish. It also contains gluten (along with rye and barley).  This is a protein which is well documented to cause many insidious problems to humans. Research tells us that it affects the brain particularly, causing plaque build-up) which can cause all manner of problems.  It is also linked to obesity.  My own experience is that after several attempts to reduce gluten in my diet, I finally ditched it altogether and lost 34 pounds!

Inexplicable weight gain?

I have never been happy with my weight but I have been steady at 120 for probably 2 years. About two months ago I just started gaining weight. I didn't change my activity level or my eating, in fact because I have a job that is crazy active in the summer I've actually been more active.

When I noticed that I was gaining weight (I got up to about 135) I cut about 400 calories a day (down to about 1600) and made sure that I got my mile run in every day. I didn't go over board with exercising or cut down a ton of calories - just upped it a little hoping I would get back down to 120.

I'm up to 150 now. I don't understand what is happening. I've gained about 30 pounds in 2 months. I have an appointment with the doctor later this week because I'm actually nervous because I have no idea why I would be gaining so much weight.

Any ideas? What should I ask the doctor?

Why am i having such a hard time gaining weight?

i do no longer think of that that's a concern exceptionally with the aid of fact which you lost weight.. it quite is incredibly no longer sturdy to learn a gaggle of weight interior the begining, with the aid of fact that technically the little one is barely approximately 2oz real now... only save ingesting healthy and have faith me later you would be gaining weight with the aid of fact that interior the final month the little one places on a million/2 lb. a week.. Gaining to lots weight at as quickly as would reason stretch marks so benefit it slowly and progressively.. sturdy good fortune!

I want to gain weight, should I leave workout and outdoor sports?

Nope, workout helps you to bulk up fast. By doing workout you damage the muscles and then your muscles repair themselves and become more strong than before. After leaving swimming or the gym, do we put on weight?

MY PERSONAL STORY - 2 Years ago I was weighing 80 kgs (5.10 height), within 6 months of swimming I came down to 68 kgs. Nether expected nor wanted to loose this much, I was looking very lean also had lost my good cheeks. Then I hit gym(for muscle gain and fitness), and within 6 months I climbed to 74kgs and have been maintaining it since then.My physique quickly gains and looses weight based on my diet and fitness activity. But this is not the same for everyone, some don’t easily gain weight after quitting swimming or gym. Metabolism changes from person to person. To answer you - the most common thing is people tend to gain weight as they don’t burn enough calories as did before.

Gaining weight due to an unhappy marriage?

One of my good friends has been married for about four years and recently I've noticed that she's put on a significant amount of weight. All through college she was in fantastic shape (no "freshman 15" gain) and she stayed in shape for at least a couple of years after the wedding. Now, though, she's been gaining weight. I haven't mentioned it to her because I don't want to hurt her feelings, and she hasn't brought it up, but I think she's aware of it. She has no significant health issues of any kind, and she's not pregnant or anything; and she doesn't have children. She's still young (she just turned 33) so it's not like her metabolism has crashed or she's going through her 'changes' or anything yet.

What I'm wondering is, could this be a sign that she's unhappy in her marriage? Whenever I ask her how things are (which is rarely; it seems that we're automatically supposed to assume everything is fine if she doesn't speak up to us about it) she says things are good, things are fine, etc; but I know she and her husband spend a significant deal of time apart due to jobs and other pursuits even though they've only been married a short while. She's a very emotional and sensitive person, so I'm just curious if her weight gain could be because of unhappiness in her relationship.

Thanks.

Can you gain weight from the plan B pill?

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
