Gear Head Headphones Not Working Help

New JVC HA-SR185-J Headphones not working.?

The left ear doesn't play at all, but the right one does. It's weird though because the right one doesn't just play what the right side would normally play, it plays a really low quality, muted, static-y version of what it would play. It's really weird. Can't really hear the vocals, usually just the rhythm guitar. The only time it doesn't do this is when I hold down the button thing that is on the cord (hence why I gave the specific model). Need help, guys.

Right headphone ear not working?

I bought headphones few weeks ago and they worked fine. But ever since yesterday, my right ear doesn't work. It only works if I lift a cable. How do i fix this? Thanks.

My headphones always stop working out of one ear?

I've had an iPhone 6 for a while now, but I it seems like every time I get new headphones they stop working out of one ear. It happens with literally every pair of headphones I get, from the official Apple brand to beats earphones, and it's becoming a huge waste of money to buy new ones. Any help?

Do binaural beats work even with earphones?

Hi. I am a brainwave entrainment user and enthusiast and have some experience of using binaural beats and I must respectfully disagree with the previous answer, even though it was answered by a sound engineer.Binaural beats were discovered in 1839 when a Prussian physicist called WH Dove found that if he played a frequency into one ear and a different frequencies into the other ear, the brain creates a third beat which is pitched at the difference between the other two frequencies. For example, if you play a 200Hz tone in one ear and a 190Hz tone in the other ear, the brain will create a third tone of 10Hz.It follows, therefore, that headphones MUST be used to generate the third tone to experience the intended effects of binaural beats. However, I do not think the effect is reduced by using EARPHONES or EARBUDS rather than traditional cupped headphones that cover the whole ear so long as the tone intended for each ear can be heard.Other brainwave entrainment techniques, however, such as isochronic tones do not work in the same way and the intended effect can be achieved without the use of headphones.Update - I recently researched the market for the best headphones for binaural beats and my criteria for choosing some. You might be surprised to discover that I did not recommend really expensive headphones. How do I fix my headphones?

I have a pair of Skullcandy Crushers that I bought recently, and they started making a rattling noise in the right headphone. The vibrations might be clashing with something and making a vibration. I could use some help please.

One side of my earphones is not working. Any solutions?

Monster earphones are supposed to be built like a tank. I reeeeally don't want to ditch them ATM. What I want to know is if I can fix them without throwing them away, like if splicing and soldering would work or not.

How do i fix my right side of my headphones?

If they are cheap headphones or massively overhyped fashion toys (Beats, Bose, Skullcandy), just toss them away because repairing them is more expensive than buying new ones from more REPUTABLE manufacturers such as Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic or Audio-Technica.

Then again, NOTHING is unbreakable, so you NEED to be more careful with your audio device from now on!

Maintenance tips:

Buy yourself a protective carrying case/pouch and put your audio gear in there whenever not in use
Always unplug your listening device whenever NOT in use
Do NOT wrap the cord around ANYTHING, do NOT let the cord become tangled!
Do NOT jerk your head too much while listening to the music
Do NOT pull from the cord, pull from the plug
Do NOT drop your audio device
Do NOT fall asleep with the earbuds on!
Do NOT crank up neither the volume nor the bass to the max, this kills especially earbuds VERY fast because small earbuds canNOT tolerate maximum volume/bass!
If using in-ear earbuds, please keep the plugs as clean as possible by using DRY lint-free cloth or DRY Q-tip or swab. Do NOT use any alcohol-based cleaning detergents!
