How do I know if my Dungeon Master is cheating?

In most RPGs there is a statement pretty early in the book that says the GM/DM can break the rules. Now GMs will often fudge dice, alter stats on the fly, and so on. The question that comes is why the GM is doing it. If it’s to win, humiliate a player or favor a player then the GM isn’t cheating they are just a bad GM. Honestly if a GM wants to kill a player you don’t need to break the rules. “You should have known the dragon was an Ancient Red by that one clue last week…..”The key for the GM is for the game to be fun. Things that aren’t fun:Not rewarding clever players.Loss of agency. (Note that this is tricky as some players are totally on board with you screwing with their character in some horrible way.)Forcing a play style.Forcing a player to do something they aren’t on board with.Although the occasional mind control PC on PC event can be fun.Changing a character in a permanent way that the player isn’t on board with. (examples changing the sex, class, or alignment of a PC)Keep in mind many of these are fine with the right players. You just have to listen to the players and adjust on a per player basis.Not letting the players win.Giving Players a sense of lack of fairness.Being a dickConstantly designing encounters to counter the PCs abilities or to take advantage of their lack of abilities.Showing up the players with your own NPC/DMPC.Unless you are setting up the NPC for the PCs to upstage in the future.Personally I cheat all the timeAdjust the difficulty of the bad guys based on who showed up.Rewrite the adventure on the fly, becauseThe players did something unexpected, but the bad guy should have been smart enough to plan for.I was an idiot.I had a more fun idea.Add in magic item specifically for a player who is under powered or even poorly played.Create a bad guy who is immune to a given PC’s abilities for added fun/challenge. Although sometimes the dice just seem to hate a PC or a Big Bad on a given day and you have to go with it.Of course sometimes players are stupid and an object lesson is needed to maintain a sense of peril.Arrange things to give a player a badly needed win. (Sometimes a player’s real world life sucks and a in game win can really lift their spirits.)

There is the Frey pie with two sons in them, who were hard to cut up, so they are def dead. Where is the rest of the progeny?The imagery of the scene is interesting though. Every Frey gathering has been in that room, which is always filled with Freys. This goes back to the beginning, whenever Freys are in a scene, it's been crowded in that room. Walder Frey is literally never alone. You can see that he's puzzled he’s the only one there. He asks for his sons because he doesn't care for any of the rest, he doesn't even know many of the girls’ names.The imagery suggests Arya spent all night killing drunken Freys and depopulating that cursed race.Another parallel is to the Boltons. Starks are a house which was brought down by betrayal- by cersei/joff/Littlefinger, by the Freys, and by the Boltons. The Boltons are now extinct. It would be fitting that the Freys should also be wiped out. The Lannisters, we know, have a giant boulder coming their way.
