Good Cheap Very Light Foundation

Good cheap foundation?

Okay so I need a foundation that is:
1. Cheap
2. A lot of coverage
3. Has a color for very pale skin
4. Not oily
4. Doesn't cause breakouts
5. Easy to put on

HELP!!!

What is a great foundation to cover all flaws?

important to use a concealer more than a foundation. The idea is to look flawless without looking like you've put 10 inches of cake icing on your face. I've had skin problems for years, and have gotten pretty good at this. Here's my tips:

First and MOST IMPORTANT: makeup will only look good on a smooth surface. You MUST wash and exfoliate your skin really well. Remove all debris and dried skin flakes. I find a wet face cloth is really all you need to exfoliate the face - just wait until you've been in the shower a few minutes for the moisture to set in.

You MAY pop pimples/blackheads ONLY if they are ready to come out. And only as much as necessary. Masaccering your face is not the idea here.

Then:

I use a thick concealer (lipstick form, not tube with the liquid stuff) a shade lighter than my skin. Dab finely onto the pimples and dab with clean fingertip until ALMOST blended. it's okay if your face has minor polka dots when you're done. I also use concealer on areas (like my nose) where the pores are rather deep or large and smooth a bit over to provide a better surface for the foundation.

Next: Use foundation FIRST over the blemishes. Ensure its blended finely around the edges.

Then, use very light foundation on the "good" areas of your face. This way, the natural good skin will give the illusion that your face is less pimple prone than it is....and will give your make up a much more natural look.

You can finish with a power (I ONLY use over blemishes where I really need the makeup to set. Otherwise, I find it just camoflouges healthy skin too much and makes it look fake).

Where to buy very light/fair concealer/foundation?

ok, i was wondering... im a relatively new makeup user, 15 yrs old, blond hair, very fair skin (think as light if not lighter than the lightest shade they sell at Walgreens/CVS), and blue-ish grey eyes. right now i wear brown-black mascara, a lightish brown kohl eyeliner, light powder, a tiny bit of pink blush, and some concealer when necessary. what brand sells the lightest concealer or foundation that isn't outrageously expensive (i have a very limited makeup budget) and isn't yellow-y? i have almost no yellow/orange in my skin tone. also, is it ok that i dont wear eyeshadow? i dotn really like to and i think that i look fine without it, but is this considered "weird"? thanks for anyone's help.

All foundations make me look so orange?

I was told by a makeup artist to match to your face. They say it's normal for your neck to be a different color. I've used the photoready by revlon and it's pretty good. The lightest color matches what I use now, which is lancome. It's not cheap but it's really good. You might try finding a close match and then buy a lancome foundation that completely matches and mix them. That way you get more color for the price. But I've had my lancome for 5 months now and I'm less than a third through the bottle. So you gotta think of quality and how long it lasts. This brand is 12 hour but it's lasted for over 16 with little wear. So about 15 months of foundation for $35.00. That's $2.30 a month for foundation.

Light Drugstore foundation for combination/oily skin?

So i have been using My Revlon Color Stay Foundation for combination/oily skin and i love it! BUT...i feel is too heavy.. and i honestly do not like caking up my face with tons of make up. Really the only reason i wear make up most of the time (when i do wear it) is because i do get acne and i just apply some foundation to hide it and give me an even/airbrushed kind of look. Now that being said ive been going thru youtube videos for a while now but i cant really find anything that is just for me or i feel might work for me, other than this "Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation" but im a little too unsure about it.. so if you guys use this please tell me how you guys like it and why? and if you guys have any other drugstore (OH YES DRUGSTORE) foundation that you know of or own that would just give me a complete full coverage and just even out my skin tone and stuff.. please please help me. Also i wouldn't mind using some translucent powder to set the foundation in. But like i said i really dont want to cake a bunch of make up on my face.. Thats why i want a REALLY good foundation to just cover up and if needed a translucent powder to set it in.. but thats it. i dont want to use primers or anything like that.. Although i wont mind if you suggest any..
Something i just forgot to say: since i do have acne prone skin i need something good enough for my skin that i can use everyday if i need to without breaking me out and that its consistency isnt all that heavy feeling on mys king.
thanks bunch! xo

What's the best foundation brand?

I never really wore foundation so...what's the best foundation?

I'm looking for one that is cheap in price, but works well. My cousins uses this one foundation that makes her skin look fake and shady, it's really bad.

Also, what's the best kind of brush to use to apply the foundation on your face? a sponge? fingers? or just a foundation brush?

Thank you to everyone who answers!

Best foundation/powder for a concert?

I would reccomend using Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream. It isn't cakey and it's inexpensive. You can use any concealer if needed, but this particular BB cream has pretty good coverage for a BB cream. And if it doesn't have ENOUGH coverage and you don't want to use concealer, you can mix the foundation that you already have with the BB cream to get the coverage that you want. I hope this helps. :)
