Good Smartphones For A Budget Of Around 250-300 Dollars

Good smartphones for a budget of around 250-300 dollars?

Something preferably not huge in size and not sophisticated since I've had a crappy LG phone with a qwerty keyboard for 3 years and a half now and I don't quite know anything about smartphones.

Would preferably include a good camera (more than 1.3 mp atleast!) and can take apps such as Instagram and Facebook messenger very easily/would include fancy apps.

Thanks!

Which phone is best under the range of 250-300 dollars with good speed and quality?

Samsung phones are dropping in price i.e- Galaxy or Note seriesIphone ( if your getting a iphone in 2017 iphone 5s is kinda a slow device, on my opinion its becomming more obsolute get iphones from iphone 6 onwards)I would recommend samsung for its speed and quality but if you ever break your device your screwed. Why? because all after market parts to replace your device would degrade the device quality, this is very common in all devices. I recommend on sticking to these both brands cause they are much better compared to most of the others out there.Dont ever go for SONY devices cause the price of making a broken SONY device is rediculous and it would render the device worthless. Why? unlike most phones in the world one feature i could describe on Sony devices is their flagship Z series which has dropped in sales wise since most of the other competing brands has more under their sleves, but sony devices on quality wise looks great but more of a dummy kinda device cause not much features other than waterproof, camera(not many improvements since z2)Honorable mentions: HTC(kinda dropping on both quality wise cause not many new concepts used but performance wise its allways trying to compete devices of its range, Oppo(great if you want a good camera phone)

Is £50,000 a year a good enough salary to live in London?

It depends on your lifestyle, your tolerance for long commutes and how much you plan to set aside for retirement/savingsAccording to the "take home pay calculator" The Salary Calculator - Take-Home tax calculator, out of a 50k salary, you'll be left with 36.5k. Say 3k per monthHousing will be your biggest expense, and housing cost is inversely proportional to commute time (assuming work in central London). If you are willing to commute 1+ hour each way per day, you can probably live ok on whatever's left of those 3k. Don't forget various council taxes and utilities on top of the rent. And commuting is not cheap (depending on your commute, can easily spend 200 or more per month). If you are willing to share an apartment, you can probably live in a much closer/more desirable area. Also, don't forget, that if you are 1+ hour away from central London, even if you are "living in London", you might not exactly enjoy spending evenings and week-ends strolling around Kensington park or shopping in Mayfair (not that you could afford the latter, on a 50k//year salary, mind you)Best way for you to figure out is to use the 3k/month starting point and look at a site like Zoopla > Search Property, enter a postcode close to your work area, and see what you can find in your price range. Keep in mind that many place list the price per week (pcw), not per month(pcm) and there are more than 4 weeks in a month, on average. And that no place looks in real life as it does in those pictures (and the cheap places tend to have a lot of other non-desirable characteristics, like a noisy environment or bad exposure).Outside of housing and high cost of public transport, other costs in London are a bit higher than elsewhere, but not completely out of line: you can eat a good Marks and Spencer salads cheaply, and there are cheap eating options. Pubs are expensive, and there's no limit to how much you can spend in a restaurant, if you are so inclined. But there are also plenty of affordable places (for example, the delicious Franco Manca Marcherita pizza, a lunch in itself, is only 6 pounds, which is cheap by any standard. And you are comfortably sitting in a nice restaurant)

Are cars really that cheap in Dubai?

Hey brother. 6000 salary is barely enough to live here.20,000$ for those cars is not cheap compared to the prices in the U.S, you can get a brand new one for that price. Also, maintenance and parts over here are expensive. It's a hot country so tyres need to be changed every year or two and ACs and overheating are common issues. Consumables such as breaks need to be changed frequently. Maintenance will be around 200 per month (at least). You need a budget for parking. 6000 salary means you'll be in a sharing flat which means you won't get a annual parking permit which means you'll pay around 10–15 dirhams daily for parking. That's 400 per month.A budget for fines (1 radar you'll loose 10% of your salary). I pay every year about 5000$ in fines. It's normal to pay at least 1000$ in fines yearly for everyone, regardless of how careful you are. That's around 300 per month.A budget for at least once a week car cleaning (sandy). If you do it in the station it's 30 dirhams, 4 times a month is 120 per month. (Cleaning your car in the public parking is illegal)Also, you'll never become a citizen so your stay in UAE is temporary. You never know how temporary, could be 3 months before whoever hired you, fires you. You'll have to eventually sell it before importing it into another country is going to be extremely expensive. You'll loose a lot of money on depreciation because those cars specially in the UAE will loose more than half their value by the time you sell. Which is going to cost you 10,000$ in a 1 or 2 year period. This is all considering that the car you buy isn't a melon or has heavy hidden issue. These kind of cars in UAE are absolutely used to their limits in the UAE, we have long empty roads some people speed to 250–300 on and empty areas with roundabouts that people drift. If the car has issues, you will truelly suffer with repair costs, they are not cheap here.Sorry to disappoint you or scare you but you can seriously ruin your life buying a car for that much with that small of an income. You really want to own a car, rent one on a monthly basis. You can get a car for 60 dirhams per day if you rent monthly (that's 1800 monthly), and pay nothing else, and be safe that way. However, I suggest you rent a car only when you need it because 6000 salary sounds like you will be stuck at work most of your week, and maybe only go out on the weekend.
