If you forward an email can the original sender see that you forwarded it?
Only if you include the original sender with the forwarded email. In nearly all cases, if not all, when you forward an email you get an empty To, CC, and BCC address input box. The subject generally has “FW” or “FWD” added to the front of the email to show that it’s been forwarded. But ultimately, unless you add the original sender, the original sending will not know that you’ve forwarded the email.Now let me also say this. If the original sender included code embedded within an email letting him know exactly when and how many times the email has been opened, he will know. I see this with CRM software from time to time.But outside of that, with a traditional email, the original sender has zero knowledge you’ve forwarded the email, unless you include him as a recipient when you forward OR one of the recipients that you’ve forwarded the message to informs the original sender.

What is the difference between mailing list and mail forwarding?
A mailing list is simply a list of email addresses. you send one email to each email address at the same time. mail forwarding is when you get an email, and you forward a copy of that email to other addresses i actually recently created a graphical instruction document on how to create mailing lists for my pastors wife. let me know and i can get it to you.
Yahoo mail contacts won't stay assigned to lists when assigned?
I have approximately 600 contacts in my mail list. Of that number, I have 9 contacts that I am unable to assign to my various lists. All 9 contacts are yahoo mail users. I get different results when I try. Sometime the assignments to the lists appear to take and then when I begin assigning the next contact to lists, the previous contact's assignments disappear. Sometimes the attempts to assign a contact to a list just fails. I have tried deleting the contacts and re-entering them as new contacts, still can't assign them to lists. I have worked in both IE8 and Firefox. The bottom line is that I cannot get these contacts to stay assigned to my existing lists.

Changing your email address is a bit drastic, you'd have all the hassle of informing all your contacts etc. Have your got graphics turned off? If you haven't and you open one of those emails it sends a message back to the porn site that your email address is live, so you get more spam. When the spammer gets the signal that your email address is live, they will sell your email address to other spammers. Do you mark them as spam so Yahoo knows to send mail from that address to the spam folder? You can mark all 20 in one go if you tick the box next to each email that looks like spam, and then send them all to the spam folder. If you never open the spam emails (or only open them with graphics turned off) the spammers will eventually conclude that your email address is not live and they will stop. It's safest to have graphics turned off on your email account. You can turn it on again for an individual email after you have opened it and know it is safe.

That box shows until you highlight the text. Once you highlight the text the copy paste link shows and your cursor has to be pointed at the highlight text
