Hairstyle For My Faceshape

What is my face shape and what hairstyle would suit it?

Over the years, hair stylists and make up artists have come up with a system to help their customers chose the best haircuts and makeup placement (think contouring) to help them present a ‘balanced’ appearance. As an example, a person is said to have a “heart-shaped face” if they have a pointy chin and a broad forehead. Here’s a chart that describes the different shapes:Where makeup comes in, someone with a Round Face would want to place their blush in such a way as to create / define a hollow under their cheekbones. At the same time, a person with a Long Face would use their blush to create the illusion of width. Here’s a good youtube video that describes face shapes, and then goes into the good haircuts to flatter each shape. I will say, just from personal experience, that it’s “just hair” - it will grow back. So if you have a square face and are told to never ever do a short bob - go for it if you want to try short hair. Just make sure to tell the stylist to leave the front longer (asymmetrical) - that way you have longer strands in the front to soften the look.

I AM A GUY REMEMBER :]

Circular face shape hairstyles?

A fringe cut on an angle, blending in slightly longer than the temple to create shadows under cheekbones. There are styles in the Asymmetrical Hair Styles Gallery that you can view for examples.

A layered shaggy hairstyle works well, short fringes will add length to the face, you need to create a strong shape through the sides so that it creates a softer look onto the face or a more angular look away from the face.

A length that is below the chin and that keeps the sides close to your face and has some height at the crown is a winner, your face will appear longer and narrower.

Hairstyles To Avoid
Curly styles emphasize roundness, if you do have naturally curly hair try for a style that will take bulk from the sides and again adding some length past the chin, As the widest part of your face is at the cheeks and ears you need to avoid having the fullness of the cut there as it will only make your face appear wider.

Extremely long styles

Extremely short styles

Chin length will exaggerate the natural roundness

Avoid straight heavy fringes

Styles that pull back tight off the face, perhaps limiting ponytails to home wear

All lengths the same, the flatter and shorter your hair the rounder your face will appear, you can wear your hair short, but do avoid a style with same length layers.

Flattering hairstyles for my face shape (pic)?

You have a kind of round face shape, and that is definitely a good thing. It means that you can pull off bangs that go straight across your forehead and also leave your hair long just take a few inches off of the end. I am guessing you straighten your hair since I saw a picture of you with natural looking wavy hair. Get lots of layers but not to high that it makes you look like you have a mullet and make sure you have layers around your face that kind of embraces your face.

Here are some hopefully helpful pics!

What’s my face shape and some hairstyles that would look good on me?

It doesn't look that weird at all. All you need to determine what face shape you have, trace the outline of it. If your face shape is similar to this person, then you have an oval face shape. You can get away with practically any hair style, but stay away from blunt one layered styles, and thick bangs. Also don't wear a center parting with long hair, that can make your face look longer.
I have a similar face shape to yours, I have high cheekbones too which is typical with oval face shapes but I'm white.

Can anyone choose a hairstyle for my face shape?

Dude for dat I need to see ur face……but in general u can go wid these types

What is the right hairstyle on wigs for my pear-shaped face?

A pear face shape has a broader jaw than fore head. So your aim is to soften your jaw, make it appear a little narrower, whilst balancing your jaw to forehead. It’s a bit like a heart shape face flipped upside down.If you have a very narrow forehead (diamond like), go for a fringe (bangs), either side swept or blunter cut (if your face isn’t too short).Volume at the temples and sides can also work well to balance your narrower forehead with your jaw.If your jaw is soft rather than angular (more teardrop than triangle) a short wedge cut can work to balance by giving your width at the temples. If you have symmetrical features, a canter part with long straight but layered hair can work well to diminish the size of your jaw. When you wear your hair pulled back into a ponytail, ensure you have either a fringe, or a few wisps of hair that go past your jaw to soften your jawline.Lots of waves or curls around your jawline as they will further broaden it.Hope these hairsytles will help you.My opinion here is for reference only. Thank you for reading.

What is my face shape? What could be the ideal hairstyle offsetting my uneven eyes and lips, large-slanted nose, and resided chin?

Get a dry erase marker and look in the mirror then trace around your face with your hair tied back out of the way. Now look at the shape and go from there. Try searching for pictures of styles based around your face shape and ask the stylist for their input. There is no one size fits all answer, your other features beyond the shape will determine what brings out the best ones.Find a happy medium between what looks good and what fits into your styling routine. Not everyone can be bothered with products, blow drying, straightening, or curling their hair every day and a lot of trendy cuts require this to look like the pictures. I lost count of how many clients I’ve had who didn’t want to pay extra for the styling then wonder why their hair didn’t look exactly like the picture they brought in even after explaining to them that in the photo the person has had product applied and had their hair blown out with a round brush. If they had washed their hair and simply let it air dry it would look very much like theirs did.
