Hard Circular Lump Just Under My Right Jaw

I found a lump on my neck just under my jaw?

I have 2 of these, if you are talking about in between your adams apple and the tip of your chin, then these are probably lymph nodes. They will most likely never go away, but might get smaller. If they enlarge, see a doctor immediately. It should be about the size of 2-4 peas put together. Just keep an eye on it. Also, if they start hurting, see a doctor immediately

I have a hard lump right under my jaw line?!?

it is probably a lymph node, they are areas where white blood cells are created or cloned and stuff... you are probably fighting an infection in one. they swell up and it is perfectly normal it happened to me a few times.. thats probably ok, if it doesn't go away soon i might call or have mom email the doctor to see if they think its worth a second look but its probably fine. also stop messing with it...
lol we know your pokeing it rubbing it every five mineuts, just leave it alone and it will recede. most likely.
ps sometimes you can get a little food or saliva or juce in the duct that goes to the mouth from those lymp nodes inder the mandible "jaw bone" and they become agitated, thats probably the case you ate something sour and some saliva went in there it happens. give it some more time and dont mess with it and it will probably shrink to normal.

also you are suposed to have small bumps under there... thats normal, lymp nodes.. they will alwayse be their, they should be about the size od a green pea... if they are swollen they might be as big as a grape or small marble. or maby bigger. but they little balls should be there.

What are the causes of a hard lump under the skin of the jawline?

Depending on the size and location of the lump under the jaw or “"mandible” you could be feeling a salivary gland or lymph node. As far as glands are concerned, the submandibular gland is the likeliest culprit, especially if you have tenderness in the area of the lump. The lymph nodes under the jawline are in the “cervical chain” and can be enlarged or inflamed due to several conditions. Inflammation of the oral cavity or throat can lead to enlarged lumps under the jawline which are most likely lymph nodes responding to a viral infection. This is the most likely cause of your lump.

What causes pain below my jaw on the right side? Could it be Hodgkin’s Disease? Its swollen under my jaw, on the right side, on top of the neck (compared to my left side). I dont have a flu/cough or any other symptoms and I'm putting on weight!

You should see a doctor and be examined.I can't put your mind at rest based on what you've said, but I can say that two common causes of what we doctors would call "submandibular swelling" are stones in the submandibular gland and tooth decay leading to an abscess. Both are statistically roughly twice as common as Hodgkins  which is about 30 cases per million people per annum.People with cancer of all forms typically lose weight, although there are always exceptions, and yes, some people with Hodgkins do gain weight. 1/2 the adult population manages to gain weight and does not have Hodgkin's disease so you can't make too much of that in isolation. The most common lymph node site affected by Hodgkin's disease is in the neck, however, Hodgkin's disease can also cause swelling of the groin or nodes of the underarm but these swellings are usually not painful and can feel rubbery. Like most cancers Hodgkin's disease can also cause fevers, night sweats, weight loss, and even generalized itching. Hodgkin's disease may cause lymph nodes in the chest to swell, which can't be seen or felt, but can cause symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain. Interestingly, some people with Hodgkin's disease will note pain in the lymph nodes after minimal alcohol consumption which appears to be something you've noticed. Please get a checkup ASAP.

Hard lump on jaw after wisdom teeth removal?

This very hard bump is a blood clot. I know very well the "freak-out" that comes from finding this! I had the same thing after I had a molar pulled a few years ago. I called my dentist ASAP convinced that she had splintered my jawbone or something. She assured me that it was a very large blood clot between my jawbone and gums and that it would go away over the next few weeks. Fortunately, she was right. It is sore primarily because the jaw muscles are sore. This, too, shall pass, more quickly than the bump itself will. Care for your removal sites per your dentist's instructions and allow time to heal the trauma your mouth has endured. Best of luck to you and I hope this helped alleviate some of the panic. :)
