How do I get the old Yahoo homepage back? I HATE the new one!!!!!!!?
Instructions for "resetting" your home page to the old Yahoo! web page vs. the "new and improved" version. 1. Open your browser and go to a non-Yahoo web page. 2. Go into your options and clear your cookies. 3. Block the following cookie: m.www.yahoo.com 4. Close your browser (just for giggles). 5. Open your browser. You should be able to get the old Yahoo! web page even after you log back into your Yahoo! account. This works for me using Mozilla FireFox 3.

Great advice, Minister of Truth. I went to http://ca.my.yahoo.com/, signed in and there was my old (and 1000% better than the new version) of my yahoo. I've set that as my home page and assume it will work until yahoo gets around to inflicting the horrible new version on Canadians. Then I guess I'll move on to yahoo UK, Australia, etc. and try to stay 1 step ahead of the "improved" version for as long as I can.

SIMPLY PUT: THE NEW YAHOO EMAIL FORMAT SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! BIG TIME!!!!! THE TABS FOR MULTITASKING BETWEEN MESSAGES IS GONE, MY FOLDERS AREN'T EASILY VIEWABLE, THEY'VE SHRUNK DOWN MY VIEWABLE EMAIL SPACE AND WIDENED THE SPACE FOR ADS, THE NEW THEMES MAKE VIEWING EMAIL IMPOSSIBLE, AND A WHOLE HOST OF OTHER PROBLEMS!!!! WHY ARE THE YAHOO EMAIL DEVELOPERS PUNISHING US WITH THEIR OUT OF TOUCH UPDATES?????? IMAGINE HOW MUCH THEY'RE GETTING PAID TO PUSH OUT THIS GARBAGE!!! DID THEY NOT CONSIDER BETA TESTING THE NEW FORMAT OR CONDUCTING FOCUS GROUPS???? DOING JUST ONE OF THOSE WOULD HAVE STOPPED THE RELEASE OF THIS NEW VERSION IN ITS TRACKS!!!! NO ONE I KNOW LIKES THE NEW CHANGES!!!! NO OTHER UPDATES THEY HAVE DONE HAVE BEEN THIS HORRIBLE BEFORE! I'VE HAD A YAHOO EMAIL ADDRESS FOR OVER 10 YEARS.....THIS BY FAR IS THE WORST!!!!! There is NO LINK available that will take you back to Classic/Original Yahoo Mail. Here is a solution that DOES work and works very well. I have multiple Yahoo accounts and I have used this method with each of them with great success..... There is a way that just involves a few mouse clicks. It sounds like you have Beta Mail (double yuck) and want to go back to the ORIGINAL Yahoo Mail. I have found a way to do just that For Internet Explorer: Go to Tools/Internet Options/Security, go to "custom level”....scroll down to "Active Scripting". Click on “Disable”. Refresh the page while you are still signed into Yahoo Mail to switch back. Be sure to go back in the same way and “Enable” Active Scripting again...(and NO it won't revert to the Beta versions of Yahoo Mail) For Safari: Open Settings, Click on Preferences, Click Security, Uncheck “Enable Java” and then Enable JavaScript For Firefox: Open Tools, Options, Content, Click “Disable JavaScript”. Hit f5 to refresh the page while you are still in Yahoo Mail to switch back. In Options, click “Permanent” to stay in the original version. Do not click the “One Time” option. Voila! You now have Original Yahoo Mail back.

Get Rid of É on Keyboard. Find yourself typing away and go to hit the Question Mark and have É instead? press CTRL+SHIFT (press CTRL first and while holding press SHIFT, sometimes you have to do it twice in a row to disable.)
