What is the answer to Stephen Hawking's joke?
Btw, I am not saying I believe in God, I am agnostic if not atheist, at least in the Christian sense. What I am saying is something began time, and whatever it is, if it does not need a first cause as Stephen Hawking says, that thing must be "God," since it does not require a first cause. So, is that the "God" Hawking is rejecting? Or is he rejecting the Human God but accepting Pantheism?
Do we cease to exist after death?
Stephen Hawking said there is no creator/God. So is it 100 percent proven beyond doubt that after we die we cease to exist? Like before we were born it would just be nothing. Or could there be some type of life after death? Not just heaven and hell but like any form of consciousness? What about being reborn as something else? Like not as in US being reborn but as a whole new consciousness. Any ideas? Thanks everyone! :)
