Advice on helping a friend...?
I have a friend who just got out of prison, and I would like to help him get his life together. I thought that if I could throw a little work his way it would go far to helping him with his self-esteem. My bathroom plumbing needs a lot of work, and I think he might be the man for job--he has said several times he did a lot of pipe-fitting while he was locked up, and he seems to be really enthusiastic about it. He is a good friend, and I am prepared to bend over backwards to help him out. I think if I just grease the wheels for him to get him going, he will be ready to get right down to it, and get his act together. I think he can be a dedicated individual, and I know he would get behind me if he had the chance, and support me, so I want to be there for him, and make things as easy for him as possible. What do you think? How can I help him to slide right in, and set out on a positive journey in life? Do you think he is the man to tackle my plumbing? Thank you all for your advice; I think that, man-to-man, I can help my friend.

That really depends on the situation. I try as much as possible to offer real solutions to my friends’ problems, but sometimes it’s not in my power to give advice, mostly because I may not have experience on the topic. But there’s one piece of advice that always helps: stay positive. When you face problems, your attitude towards them is what dictates whether or not you’ll pull through.

my best friend called me crying saying her grandma hit her and it really bugged her cause it reminded her of her moms boyfriend that would always hit her. so she said she left the house cause she couldnt take it and she said everyone is calling her now and shes getting kinda pissed? like shes pouring out all these things to me and i really dont know what to say? i just dont want her crying.. help

Help had sex with sisters friend need advice NOW!!?
So this all started last friday when my older sisters friends ( there mostly around 16-17) came around to have a sleepover. It didnt affect me I had a party to go to and wouldnt be home till 11. So I went to my party and it was boring and there were parents there so I deicided to get a ride home. So I got home and the girls are all awake in the living room watching some movie and I go to my room, there being noisy so I put on my headphones and play some BF3 but in anout an hour one of the girls ( obviously tipsy at least ) comes inand says come out here we want to ask you some questions. Im like fine so i go out there and half of them are gone presumably to bed and the remaing three are asking me all of these questions like do u have a girlfriend, how was your party, Have you ever been with a girl before and its getting awkward so I say goodnight and go to bed . Half an hout later on of them comes in (Tiffany I think her name is) and she starts appologiszing and then starts to touch me and at first im like this is awesome but then I start to think. Shes my sisters friend yeah but shes hot ect and eventualy shes sucking my penis and before I know it were having sex! half of u guys are going to thing im some little troll but I can assure you IM not I need advice not criticism please help!!!!! ALSO our parents were ( stll are) away I dont know what to do what if shes pregnant what would u guys do in my situation?!??!?!?!?! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!???????
Help my friend wants to join a gang i need advice to give to him?
simple - give a reply yes or no gangs generally are folks whose personalities have made them outcast by their own doings gangs offer no real benefit to anyone .... you are offering to risk your health or life for a "leader" who simply wants backups to his own ideas gangs are also against the law, so any activity there can bring you a permanent record or jailtime gangs also bring heartbreak and harm - offer nothing to the persons involved or society if he wants to stand for something - stand for something that betters him as a person and society! thanks for your concern - that is a sign of a true friend best wishes to you both!
