In the Hunger Games: Catching Fire why did they kill people who did the salute?
This is what I found online : Following Katniss' speach on the memories of deceased tribute Rue, he gave the four note whistling tune to Katniss, and partly to the memory of those fallen, causing everyone in the crowd to give the District 12 respect sign. Seeing this as a sign of rebellion, the Peacekeepers pulled him from the crowd, beating him multiple times and then shooting him in the head, much to Katniss' shock and horror. http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/Uni... He was only killed because he was the one who started it. It is also similar to Cinna's death where he was killed because he had changed Katniss's dress into a Mockingjay when she spinned around, making a fool of President Snow.
What kind of jacket is Peeta wearing in Catching Fire?
I really like whatever kind of jacket/hoodie Peeta is wearing in the pic but I'm not sure what it is. I don't think it is a real thing but does anyone know where I can get one?
Catching Fire Beach Scene?
The beach scene is around page 350. Everyone's probably obsessing over it because there's a Katniss and Peeta scene in which they're being completely adorable and that's probably one of my favorite scenes. Where Peeta tells Katniss that if he dies no one would care, and Peeta continues to say that if Katniss died he would have no life back in district 12, like nobody needs him and Katniss says she needs him and I just can't rn, ok. Is there any chance of a lamp catching on fire from overheating if left on too long? leave mine on alot..?
When you say lamp, I assume you mean table, floor or other type of lamp, not the bulb that goes into the lamp. As long as your bulb is rated less than the maximum wattage rating for the lamp, you'll be okay, as long as your lamp is in good condition. The bulb rating is usually marked somewhere near the bulb socket on the lamp. If you don't find it, assume a maximum rating of 60 W (watts) for your lamp. Inspect your lamp's ac power cord. If the cord is cracked, nicked, loose, or otherwise damaged, forget about using the lamp. The heat from the lamp also depends on what type of bulb you use. Incandescent bulbs put out a lot of heat. CFLs (compact fluorescent lights) run much cooler and use less power. I recommend you use CFLs As assurance, each lamp commercially available is required to be UL (Underwriters Laboratory) rated. This means that a testing agency has gone to great lengths to make sure your lamp is safe. If you stay within the bulb wattage ratings for your lamp and it's in good condition, you should be okay.
How gory is the hunger games movie?
I DO TOO OMG! But I don't think it was the gory nor graphic. But that's just me. The Wolves: They don't show that you know Peeta's leg getting cut. Cato you don't see much cuz its dark. In the end when Cato and Peeta like fight Cato's face has some blood on it. But you could always close your eyes. Clove and the temple: No blood. She was bleeding internally. Cato Slicing Peeta's Leg: They don't show the actual slicing. MAY SPOIL:They just show his leg and the cut (wasn't that big) when Katniss find him. The Tracker Jackers: No blood. They don't show the girl from District 8. They do show Glimmer tho. But no blood just bumps all over her body. Rue's Death: Yes some blood. Just like an oval of blood. You can close your eyes at this part, cuz she takes the spear out of her. And when I was watching I heard a guy go all UUUOOOO..And for Marvel you just see him fall no blood really. The movie doesn't really talk about Katniss' thoughts. The time when she ran off in the woods no they do not. The movie cuts out a lot of the dialog and stuff so if you read the book you would understand more of it (which you did :D) The goriest part of the movie I would have to say is the blood bath in the beginning. Cause they show some of the actual killing (but it goes really fast). Another one is when Katniss finds Peeta and she sees his cut. And when Katniss comes back from the Cornucopia. And the end when you see Cato's face with all the cuts. Really if you get scared close your eyes and remind yourself its not real blood. I was like that but I'm like its not that bad.. My kenmore dryer is not collecting lint on the screen how do i fix it?
I can't say for sure, but check your dryer hose or pipe. Whatever you have that vents outside from the back of the dryer. You could have a serious blockage of lint that can cause a fire. This may be restricting air flow and the lint isn't being sucked into the vent screen. check it out right away.
