How can I factor this equation?
I would treat this as an equation to the second degree. It's not that different. x^4 - 6x^2 + 9 (x^2 - 3)(x^2 - 3) I thought of it as this and I got the same coefficients. x^2 - 6x + 9 (x - 3)(x - 3) However, the real answer is (x^2 - 3)(x^2 - 3). I just thought of it as a 2nd degree. Hope this helps.
