Help Me With My Kitten . She Making Wired Noses

Kittens making pigeon noises?

My cat does this! she usually does it when she's in a playful mood, although if you wake her from a nap she'll do it then too.
My cat makes other funny noises, too. She's not much of a "meow"-er. Her favorite noise to make kind of sounds like "Bow-er-rowr!" when she's looking for us. (It sounds like the first WAV link I listed.)
The site below is great. The person who made this has a bunch of kitty noises. Enjoy!

9 Month old kitten making weird noises?

Okay so my kitten is making weird noises.. She isn't desexed yet as unfortunately i do not currently have the money to do it (we were going to do it but i lost my job)...
Anyway for the past 3 days she has been acting really weird.. Normally she is dying to go outside but as of late she has been sitting next to the door and making really strange meowing noises.. Sometimes they are really loud, sometimes soft.. she has also been very affectionate with me.. (which isn't like her) she doesn't like me very much but she has been rubbing up against me and stuff..
Do you think that maybe shes in heat and is trying to find a mate?? I just didn't think they did that at this age.. i thought it happened after a yr or so.

My kitten is making a weird moaning sound and it seems to be something wrong with her back legs, is she OK?

My 5 month old kitten, Lilly, has been recently making this weird noise, like purring but with a open mouth and sounding more like moaning... its not purring, I know for a fact. She is kneading the ground with her hind legs with her stomach pressed to the ground. She is not yet spayed ( she is going later this month or early December). It seems she is in pain but she walks (normally) fine. I am worried about her, this is our first cat. She doesn't have feline leukemia we have checked for that. What should I do? Could this be life threatening? Is she sick? Should we make a special appointment with the vet for this or could it just be growing pains?

Kitten breathing weird, making weird crackling noises?

My 9 week old kitten is normally very playful and eats and drinks just fine. But all of a sudden today, he was the complete opposite. He has not eaten or will not drink water. He barely moved more than a few steps at a time and spent the day sitting or laying down and sleeping. I hear crackling noises coming from his chest. And he makes weird noises, coming from his mouth/nose area (not sure which exactly) that i can't really describe but they don't sound normal. Its obvious that something is not allowing him to breathe comfortably and that somethings not right.

There's a possibility we might not be able to get to the vet till saturday morning. And I'm really worried. What's wrong with my kitten? Is there anything i can do in the meantime?

Im having trouble with my kitten. he makes these strange noises while i bottle feed him milk..?

Let me say that you are a wonderful person for taking up this huge task of hand raising this tiny kitten! It is really a very time consuming and somewhat tiring but what you get in return far outweighs all of it!

As others have mentioned before me, the kitten will need a vet visit soon. It may sound silly to ask this but do you think perhaps that the kitten is purring? Young kittens purr when nursing on mom and even bottle fed kittens will emulate that loud purr when being fed. It can be rather alarming to someone who has never nurse a small orphan before.

If you are certain that it is not a loud purr you are hearing, then it could very well have something to do with the kitten's digestive system. Try burping the kitten after feeding, and then start again. Burping is very important so please don't skip this step.

I wish you well and again, thank you so much for taking care of him. :)

Kitten making weird noise, sorry I know nothing about cats ?

You don't know anything about cats. But I LOVE the fact that you advise us upfront. I also love the fact that even with your limited knowledge, you rescued it, and fed it correctly. I commend your wisdom.

Make sure you give it fresh water everyday as well.

You can contact the local aspca and take her there, as kittens have a better chance of adoption. You can ask to be called if they do not get adopted.

Thanks for the laugh; I knew immediately what she was doing. LOL Very very cute.

Good luck; I am so impressed.

Why does my kitten make this noise?

The sound you're hearing is the sound wild cats make when they're hunting. My cat does it while watching birds from my kitchen window. It's like a clicking noise mixed with a hiss and a cough. It mean's they're stalking prey, and are getting ready to pounce. It's one of many many noises cats can make :)

My kitten makes a weird noise every time she jumps/lands on something?

iv heard that when a cat lands on something or jumps and they make a weird purr meow like noise that there is something wrong and they could possibly be sick.
well iv had my kitten since she was 6 weeks old she is now about 3 or 4 months. when she jumps up on a chair or the bed...or especially when she jumps off of something she makes a meow purr mixture. she doesnt seem to be sick she is very hyper.

Why does my kitten make a clicking sound when he eats?

Your kitten may be suffering from a condition so-called "Clicking Jaw" which occurs when there is a misalignment in the jaw which causes the "click click" sound whenever your cat opens and shuts his jaw. This condition can be minor which would not affect your kitten, or it could get worse by causing discomfort (like pain) later on.

Take your kitten to the vet for advice. I am not sure if there is any medicine or magic pill for this condition. In humans, serious "clicking jaw" can be mitigated to some degree by jaw exercises and even a mouth apparatus to put on while sleeping to stop teeth grinding and excessive pressure on the jaw.

But for cats...who knows? Most probably the vet may advice you on the kind of food or nutrition you should feed your kitten and to monitor his behaviour and eating time.

Good luck.
