Your ex doesnt have any right to not allow u to see your child. It doesnt matter if u were seeing a lawyer or not. File a claim with the courts to make her. IF she doesnt comply then the judge can give u custody. (violation of a court order)

It is very important that you talk to your ex-wife with the children present. You are never to be addressed by your children by your first name. Have your children tell her exactly when, where and what was happening, the specifics of it. Not a "for instance". Make sure the children are supporting each others stories. You wrote a great question without anger. That is positive! Keep those children surrounded by a positive energy force. Then no matter if he tells them to call you "purple" you are still DAD to them. Well that new husband doesn't sound too positive that he is even in the right relationship that he has to be one person in front of your ex-wife and another person while she is gone!! How can someone change guardian n leitum in custody battle?
You can present evidence to the judge through your attorney but you must be absolutely sure or lose credibility. The guardian ad litem will see things, hear things, and investigate things that you will not be aware of. That is why I mention that you must be absolutely sure. If you are wrong, it is only going to annoy the judge.
Can a non-custodial parent change a childs apperance?
Yes. He's allowed to do that. Your sister needs to grow up and come to some sort of an agreement with her ex husband. She started this whole thing by getting the kid a mowhawk without consulting the father first. Obviously she didn't think it through and her son is paying the price. Now it's up to her to be and adult and fix it directly with her ex, even if she has to give in to the father's wishes in the best interests of the child.
