Help Terrible Abdominal Pain Just Under Ribs Anything Serious

Severe right side abdominal pain with a lump below ribs?

This started 4 days ago. I went to the hospital on the second day and they couldn't find anything wrong. All they did was a urine test and a CT scan. They didn't even take my blood. They eventually said that I was just there for pain medicine and sent me home. Yesterday, the pain was manageable. Tonight, I'm in pure misery. It hurts on my right side right below my ribs and straight through to my back. My chest is hurting too. I feel like I need to throw up, but when I try nothing comes up. I now have developed a lump under my ribs about the size of a nickle. It doesn't hurt to touch, but you can definitely feel it. I double over in pain when it comes on. (It comes and goes.) I don't have insurance, so one trip to the hospital was more than I can even begin to handle. I can't afford to go to the hospital again unless I know there is something seriously wrong with me. Any suggestions?

Severe upper abdominal pain?

im a 19 yr old female. and for the last 2 weeks have been having severe upper abdominal pain. it starts beneath my ribs in the centre of my stomach and is a severe stabbing pain, it lasts about 15 minutes (severe) then the pain subsides but is constantly there. it sort of feels like really really bad trapped wind and sometimes it passes and feels a little better, but it always returns. This is worse when i am led down and i usually wake up in the early hours in hurrendouse pain. it doesnt seem to matter if i have eaten or not. but is worse if i am hungry. I have been to hospital on the weekend and saw a doctor and she gave me sennakot which i am not happy with. i know the pain is Not caused by constipation because i am not constipated. i am truly worried about this as i do not cope with pain very well. Its really getting me down.My sister is 21 and last week had her gallbladder removed from stones. I am concerned i may have gallstones. but am more worried it may be something worse. x

Terrible pain just under my ribs when I bent over, followed by abdominal distension...?

You are pinching a muscle bending over and they can either send the pain around your body on the nerves to be pains in your front or they can press onto the nerves, as they leave your spine, to cause pains in the organs they go to. Pressure on the nerves to your stomach will cause it to release more gastric acid which will burn your stomach lining and as it dilutes the pain will get less and less until it goes away. Both of these problems will be gotten rid of by freeing up your back muscles so they can't press into the nerves or be pinched by the spine and here's how to free them up for your relief:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this erlaxed.

What causes pain on the right side of my back just below my rib cage?

Keep an eye on your gallbladder. In my case I had EXTREME & unbearable pain, nausea, diarrhea & sweating when I had issues with my gallbladder. By the time a doc finally actually tried to figure out what was happening rather than treating me as a drug seeker it had been almost 2 years of horrible issues. But the problems started somewhere so I wouldn't be surprised if it did start with pressure. I just can't remember because the whole experience really was terrible & almost traumatic. I would definitely pay good attention for the pressure to get more intense or any new symptoms. Depending on how bad it is or how long you have noticed this I would consider seeing a doctor sooner rather than later.

Bad lower right abdominal pain after barium swallow?

a week and a half ago, i was involved in an accident that resulted in broken ribs and a cracked sternum, but no visible organ damage on CT. i've been vomiting pretty violently absolutely anything that crosses my lips since then (have already been treated for dehydration), so this morning i had a barium swallow, for which i haven't been given the results yet.

i now have bad (not severe, but bad) pain in my lower right abdomen. curling up (or knees to chest) seems to relieve it some, but taking a deep breath, straightening out, or standing up are very painful.

is this just a result of the barium causing constipation and that kind of stuff? could the barium have done something else? is it possible the pain's unrelated to the barium and just showed up on the same day?

thanks so much...

Abdominal pains under rib cage, bad gas, burping ever 5 minutes, side cramps?

I honestly dont know whats wrong with me. Its been like this for a week, and it just wont stop. I have this frequent, actually more than frequent pain underneath my rib cage, and right below my sternum, like mostly on my rid side. A sort of sting, stab, feeling. And then theres the horribly smelling gas which isnt horribly frequent(thank god). Then the annoying burping, which seems like is happening every 1-5 minutes. It is ridicoulus and the burps are like, loud i just ate a bunch of mcdonalds burps, nasty and loud and long. And i also started getting these side cramps on my left side. And they never seem to go away even when i try stretching them out or relaxing. Does anyone know whats wrong with me? I mean i dont feel stressed or anything, so i dont think its that..But im open to anything anyone has to say! Please help me im struggling!:(
