Hey I Just Started Working At Mcdonald

Im working at mcdonalds....?

Hey! I'm working at mcdonalds next week but I don't have experience once so ever, but if ibwork on cash register, is that the only thing I'm going to do? Or I'm going to do more than that? If so are they going to tell me what's the next thing I should do. The thing I's that I'm realy nervouse since I'm going to be under pressure. Is sombody going to guide me on what I should do next? Please somebody working at macdonalds help.

I've started working at McDonalds but I really hate it. I'm 19 and I quit my other job after 2 weeks in marketing. I feel like a quitter, should I quit?

Honestly I can't tell if this is a serious question or not but I will pretend it is. When you are starting out, particularly, you need to do some grunge work in any field.   There is some truth to the "earning your stripes" meme.  However, you can love your job from the beginning if you can find the right thing you are passionate about and the thing in which you can tolerate those aspects that are boring and repetitive.    The key here is why did you quit your job in marketing?  Did you decide you didn't want to do marketing?  Or was it too hard?  Or did you get beat up every day by thugs?  What is the source of your dissatisfaction with both the marketing job and McDonalds?    Some people like working at McDonalds.  You need to look and see what is driving you to determine if quitting is a valid option or if you are just being too lazy or don't have enough grit or stick-to-it-iveness.  You need to be the one to say.

Just started McDonald's today, don't wanna go back?

You'll never make it in life if you keep running away from your problems. I understand you are young kid, but this is life. First jobs will always be a bity rough at the start. Even if you leave this one and get another one, your first few days will be rough as you are STILL LEARNING THE DAMN JOB.

But dont expect to get paid for nothing. You need to work to get paid

kids these days. lazy *** holes

4 all the people who work at mcdonalds, when u first start your job as a crew at mcd,did u take the e-learning

I've worked at two different McDonalds. The first McDonalds was really ghetto, and they didn't do the e-learning. The second on, which I'm still working at, is really nice, and I had to do e-learning there, even though I already knew everything.
No, I don't think it's hard to work there. As long as you can pay attention to your job, it's easy (and fun!).
As for remembering stuff, it won't be that hard. It's simply practice and repetition. Before you know it, you'll be making a cheeseburger in 15 seconds! When I first learned till, I was really SLOW! But now when I train new people, they're like "Whoa, you're so fast!". I almost never ate at McDonalds before i got hired, so it was all new to me, but now I know the menu inside out.

Good luck!

How long should I work at Mcdonalds before I quit?

I'm 16 and I started working part-time at Mcdonalds at the end of October and I hate it. The pay is bad and I hardly got any trianing so everyone is always angry with me all the time because I don't actually know what I'm doing. The only reason I got a job there was because I couldn't get a job anywhere else so I thought if I just put up with it for a while I could quit and use that as experience on my resume and get a job i actually want. So my question is how long should i work there so it looks like significant experience on my resume? If i quit at the beginning of January next year it would look like I'd worked there for 4 months or should I wait until march so it looks like 6 months or should i wait even longer..ugh. Also how exactly should I go about quitting keeping in mind that the manager and i aren't exactly best friends ( she talks to me in the voice my parents used when i poured milk into the VCR when i was six)

Can i work at mcdonalds but not work front counter?

I work at McDonald's; have been for six months now. This being your first job, of course you are intimidated, nervous, and feel like you might not be too good at the job. But McDonald's has a really good training program, and a team-centered environment so you would get the help you need in order to get the hang of the job quickly. It is pretty easy, I promise. Front desk is not bad at all. You are not old enough, nor do you meet the requirements to work in the kitchen. For the 16 and 17 year olds at the McDonald's I work, what we do changes randomly. Most of the time I am at the front counter, personally. But I have 16/17 year old co-workers that works mostly drive-thru. Either handling the cash/taking orders or presenting the food. Or being a runner for drive-thru or counter, sometimes even both which is when you get the orders together and make sure the customer gets everything. You put the fries in their containers, pay attention to grill slips for special sandwiches, etc. (: Cashiering is extremely easy and even if you are slow at counting money like I used to be, you will become super fast. I count change like a wiz now, lol. It just takes time and practice. And you will definitely gain tons of confidence before you know it and be a pro at the job. Sometimes I have to work drive-thru when they need someone, or they have me clean the lobby, stock, etc. What crew members do vary. So you have to become acquainted to all tasks, and they are not difficult at all. Keep in mind that thousands of teens before you got their first job at McDonald's and made pretty good money before it was time for them to move on. (:

Why do people look down on you if you work at McDonald's?

I just got hired today at McDonald's in my town, i'm a 20 year old female, and i've heard my friends talk crap about people that work at McD's. Even my boyfriend says it's crap basically...he says that working at Chick-Fil-A has the high end people work there. So would that make me low end to work at McDonald's? I have also have a facebook, and I really want to put on there that I work at McD's, but I know people will judge. I know they will. But times are tough these days, and this is my second job. And from what I've seen, all my co-workers are very friendly, they have a good appearance, and it's not a bad place to work for. Yes, it's fast food, and yes, McDonald's is not the healthiest food to eat...but still. It's really not that bad. So what makes it so different from any other fast food restaurant? ):
