Hi Can Someone Tell Me What Is This Symbol Called And What Does It Mean Answers Will Be Very Much

What does it mean if someone ALWAYS says hi to you?

Most likey he is just being nice.

Some people are like.

I'm what I call PAINFULLY SHY. I am so shy I get a lump in my throat that hurts. It is almost impossible to talk. Plus being part red headed my whole face gets bright red when I'm shy, scared, sad or pretty much any other emotion. lol

Anyway, we are southern & Baptist. So when we go to a church or visit a church event just about everyone we walk past is like "Oh, HI, how are you doing? Just look at you, you look great. How are your kids" & as my son says "Blah blah blah".

The most uncomfortable part??? A lot of times I don't even know these people! lol They are just someone at church or someone who may know my husbands family which is very large and friendly.

Some people feel it is just polite to great someone when they walk by. Yes, it can look weird in school hallway esp. a crowded one with 100s of kids. lol But I've known people like that.

They are the loud greeters who are like "Hey, Kim. Hi ya John. How you doing Hannah? What are you up to today, Jessica?." None stop greeting.

Just smile and say hi back.

What does it mean to be called someone's lady?

There is no difference between being someone's girlfriend or lady. Nowadays it's sort of like a slang term for girlfriend. To be honest...I don't like it. It's just my personal opinion but it is frequently used these days.

What does it mean when someone calls you adorable even though you are an adult?

I will (sort of ) forward the advice my father gave me some thirty years ago:Take a compliment when it’s given to you. They are rare enough. Don’t worry about nuances and dont care about those nuances, because most compliments are kind of empty/shallow anyways. But they can still feel nice, if you let them.I would like to add that the only reason to care about this specific adjective would be if you don’t feel taken seriously by the person saying it, but really want to. Then just ask them for their reason of using the word.If that’s not the case, take it and run your own storyline – me as a not native english speaker would go with: hey, being called adorable means somebody thinks I’m somebody they adore, which is very close to worship.Just have some fun with it.

What does "Wiry" for a person mean?

Hi I am 18 years old 5"9 and weigh only about 54-55kg

I can jump over cars and nearly slam dunk :D

Also when i play football sometimes with mates I LOVE to shoulder them and drive them back even with just one arm (especially the soft chunky kids) cos they don't hurt as much cos they are not as bony xD also if i have the ball and they try to tackle me i just keep running and they usualy can't get me to the ground haha

But MY MAIN SPORT IS BASKETBALL

ANYWAY!!! I don't look big at all, im pretty skinny but my mum said I am VERY Wiry

What does she mean by that?

If someone says "hey stranger" does that mean their happy to hear from you?

"Hey, stranger" is a salutation used to greet someone you haven't heard from in a "long time." What constitutes a "long time" is relative, and may be a function of the affection one feels for someone, or it may simply be a temporal reference - 20 years is a long time - if I hadn't heard from an acquaintance in 20 years, I would say "hey, stranger!" if only to indicate that it has been a long time.As far as the affection part goes, my son will sometimes go weeks without calling or visiting or texting, or whatever, even though we're (usually) on good terms. If it has been a few weeks, my wife or I will say "hey, stranger," as a way of indicating that we would like to hear from him more often. If you contact this guy on an occasional basis, but rarely see him, it may be his way of saying he'd like to see you more often. It should certainly be taken to mean that he's happy to see/hear from you.

What does it mean when someone says I just can't talk to you now?

Generally, “I can’t talk right now” is without subtext. It doesn’t mean “I don’t like you” and it doesn’t mean “I never want to talk.” It means that this isn’t a good time for the person you’ve called. Possible reasons why include, but are not limited to:I’m in the middle of a work project.I’m changing the kitty litter.I’m walking the dog, and it’s just seen a squirrel.I’m cooking dinner.I’m just stepping on/off a bus.I’m at the checkout line and don’t want to be rude to the cashier and the other customers.I’m in a very noisy place and can’t hear you well. You’re in a noisy place, and I can’t hear you well.I’m out socially or I’m entertaining in, and don’t want to be rude to my friends/guests.I’m watching sportsing, and my team is in position to score. It may also mean I’m tired/stressed/need a nap/am about to meditate/I’m reading a book.If you text someone and they tell you they can’t talk, it can be all of the above, and it can also mean “my hands are occupied and I can’t do this now.”Be aware that “I can’t talk right now” is seldom a a personal rejection, and means what it says. When you call/text/video chat/whatever you do, the person you’ve contacted is almost certainly not waiting for your call, unless you’ve made such arrangements, and doesn’t need to tell you what they’re doing. You can always ask if there’s a better time to try back.

What does this heart symbol mean?

The heart is an emblem of love. In the context that you simply advise, i'd suppose it used to be a signal of affection. It might be someone too shy to claim it straight out, where case it approach more than it seems to.

In cooking what does this symbol mean?

Number sign is a name for the symbol #, which is used for a variety of purposes, including (mainly in Canada and the United States) the designation of a number (for example, "#1" stands for "number one"). On many social media platforms, it is used to declare a searchable metadata tag called a hashtag.[1]

The term number sign is most commonly used when the symbol is used before a number. In the United States and Canada, it is sometimes known as the pound sign (particularly in the context of its use on telephone keypads), and has been traditionally used in the food industry as an abbreviation for pounds avoirdupois. Outside of North America the symbol is called hash and the corresponding telephone key is called the "hash key", and the term "pound sign" usually describes the British currency symbol "£".
