This is one I liked. GRANDPA TEACHES GRANDSON’S MURDERER. Miguel’s grandson was killed several years ago. The murderer, Esmeraldo, was caught but did not admit to the crime when tried in court. Nevertheless, based on the evidence, he was sentenced to prison. Later, an elder invited Miguel to accompany him to witness in the very prison in the Philippines where Esmeraldo was incarcerated. Miguel hesitated, knowing that his grandson’s murderer was there. However, he went along and joined in teaching some inmates who were having a Bible study. During the study, he looked up and saw Esmeraldo walking toward him. To defuse what might have been a volatile situation, Miguel spoke to him mildly, saying: “Esmer, I came here, not to quarrel, but to show love to people like you. Look, we are discussing the Bible with this man. What happened to you would not have happened had you known the Word of God. Planning to move to Italy. Rome or Milan?
Actually, life in Italy is pretty hard nowadays... Lack of jobs, economic crisis, everything is become really expensive... Make sure that you'll have a job before moving here. Also, if you're from Philippines you need a special permission for live in Italy (or in any other European Country)... In Italy it's called 'permesso di soggiorno'. Anyway, if you really wish, Italy is a beautiful Country... Great history, great landscape, good food... I can't really tell you if it's better Rome or Milan, I live near Milan and I can assure you that the city is SOOOOO expensive; that's why people usually live in other towns near Milan but not in the actual city. Milan is very modern an that area is the most multicultural/multiethnic of Italy...It could be REAAALLY cold in winter but in summer it's usually warm and humid. Unfortunately, many people in big cities are stressed expecially in Milan 'cause the city is the main industrial, commercial and financial centre of Italy. Rome is beautiful, much more history and weather is usually not as cold... I think Rome is better to visit but life over there is not different from any other big European city. Howewer, there are more job opportunities in Milan. You should ask this in the Italian section... I think you're gonna get interesting answers =)
Why are all countries jealous of Americans?
First of I'm American and have patriotic pride but I also have pride in the countries my ancestors came from. America, is a great country(as far as free speech, religion, freedom to bare arms etc.go) but as time as went by it's became sickening. We as a people in America are focused on the material things. We over indulge on food, watch terrible television, and have a terrible educational system. I'm not saying that I am one of "those" americans, because I am smart, not fat, and I'm writing this knowing the faults of this country. It's unfortunate that so many countries do infact not favour us, but then why would we get so many immigrants and wetbacks? It's all opinion really. BTW I am 15.
