Highschool Regrets Anyone

Does anyone regret high school grades?

I truly regret my poor grades in school as my test scores were fairly good. Grades are important, but not nearly as much as the wisdom you gain from your "failures". A C+ in high school will not destroy a potential career in college. It's the basis for enrollment, but what counts is what you do in college. Experience is your best teacher...if anything, look back on where your weak spots were in the class and focus on learning the material better. Don't worry as much about the grade now, but try to gain the knowledge that you need.

As for your parents, you are still their child and they will understand. There is no shame in a low grade, so long as your effort was as high as possible. There is no doubt of the importance of grades, but you need to keep your perspective. It appears to me that you have achieved quite a success so far in your life...and if my guess is accurate, you have many more successes to follow. Keep your eye on the prize, not the wound.

What are your high school regrets?

I am graduating from high school a week from today and I have been thinking about all the stuff I did and didn't do these past four years.

Some of my regrets are not dating the girls that I wanted to date even though my friends didn't approve of them. Also I wish i hadn't cared so much about what people thought of me. Another regret of mine is I wish I would have tried more new things. I tried running indoor track my senior year and it was a lot of fun and I was good at it. I wish I had started running indoor track when I was a freshman. I also wish I hadn't quit playing football once I started high school. I had played from fifth to eighth grade but once I started high school I thought I wasn't good enough so I quit. This is probably one of my biggest regrets.

Now that I have told you my regrets from high school, I would greatly appreciate it if you would tell me yours.
Thank you in advance :)

Does anyone regret being homeschooled?

i'm not regretting cause hopefully i get to go to public school in high school.

EDIT: I didn't read the whole question before i answered, sorry, but i never went to public school in elementary and this is my last year in middle school so i have no social life besides me and my sister talking, but i don't know what it's like to talk to kids my age and i'm very shy also. i know it's really tough, but if you are going to college with other students try your best! Because in the future you will have to be more social to survive in life. Lately I've been trying to break my bad habit(avoiding eye contact with people i don't know and talking extremely low), and I'm trying to make friends at my skating class. I want to be a friendly person, i know i'm friendly but the problem is that i'm very shy. so i've been trying. and i said hi to some people i don't know :) you shouldn't blame it on homeschool entirely, you should try to move forward now that it's over and try to make friends and talk to people that you don't know. my Dad is a VERY friendly and outgoing person so I'm trying to learn from him :) ok well good luck in what ever you do

Has anyone dropped out of highschool and not regret it? or find another alternative?

thanks for the answers its just l absolutely hate the kids in my school, l have very bad anxiety and it makes learning so hard because l always fear someone is going to harass me because since lm not the best looking lm a like a joke. and the thought of having these feelings for two more years seems unbearable, l think l would rather be dead, l am so tired of it l have been feeling this way since middle school and want to be around mature people and want to escape because l feel so anxious everyday and want to vomit every morning, its terrifying. because of this lm absent a lot and my grades are suffering and l am highly considering l think it would benefit my mental health.

Did anyone get tattoos in high school and regret getting them?

I'm a senior in high school and I just got my first tattoo.

It was a graduation gift... I'm one of the only people in my family to graduate.

Anyway.. I like it but sometimes I wish I hadn't of gotten it or I wish I would have gotten something much smaller for my first tattoo.. (it's a rather large tattoo on my leg)..

I don't have any plans to ever get another one either.

But I was wondering if anyone else had gotten a tattoo at a young age, but learned to love it because it is part of who you are?

I was just wondering cause I have been told for some individuals tattoos take getting used to.. I have had mine for a few weeks now but I'm worried I'll never get used to it and want to keep it hidden.
