Hiii Can I Do B.tech With Amie University After Diploma.

How much year should I study btech after diploma in engg?

A diploma holder can join B.Tech course (regular or distance) by D2D process after completing Diploma in Engineering. B.Tech program allows Diploma students to take entry directly into second year of engineering course. For taking admission in B.Tech, you must have done at least 3 years diploma after 10th in any branch of engineering. Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. so you need to appear and crack these exams. Some colleges conducted their own entrance exam for getting entry. Admission procedure varies from college to college. So you will have to contact colleges individually. Please tell me the State you belongs to so that i can give you more information..

Can I do btech after diploma?

Hello There, Yes Absolutely! You can do B.Tech after Diploma/Polytechnic. Why Only Toppers any Average Student can get into B.Tech College as Laterals. Lateral Entry Option is available in almost all the Top Engineering Colleges. But trust me there is a tough competetion out there and very limited seats for the Lateral Entry  Students. While you are in 3rd year of Btech, you need to appear for ECET, and your Admission will be depending on the Merit in that Exam.Since you said you are joining First Year Diploma, You should have apprared for CEEP (Common Entrance Exam for Entrance into Polytechnic) Similar to what happens in the Councelling after CEEP same thing going to happen after ECET as well. Based on your Merit you will be choosing your Engineering College. As i said earlier every Engineering College has very limited seats for Lateral Entry Students, trust me it is difficult but not impossible though. After Completing Dimploma even you can opt for Correspondance B.Tech. I did the same, I did my Diploma in Govt. Polytechnic Hyderabad, and then did Correspondance Btech in JNTU which completed in 2013. Right after completing Diploma i have started my Work Career as an Engineer too. So if i look back now i m having good amount of Experience with a Degree. But if you ask me a suggestion which route is better. Go for ECET and work hard and get admission in a Good renowed College and try to get a Placement Job (If your Criteria is to pursue a career related to your Study). Else finding a Job after completing the college by attending Walk-ins will be lot more hectic.Let me know incase if you have any other Queries related to this. Have fun in whatever you plan to do, College days are the Best part of life :) Don't miss them. All the Best! ! !

Is it necessary to study B.Tech after a diploma?

Not necessary, it's your choice. Not necessary, it is your choice. If you are interested in continuing your study to gain more knowledge then you can do B. Tech after completing your Diploma in the respective Engineering branch through lateral entry to get admission in B. Tech 2nd year directly. But it is advisable to complete your Degree after Diploma. If you join a job right after your diploma then it will be more complicated to do B. Tech if you feel it's importance later. you can get a promotion quickly in a private company if you hold the degree doing a diploma level service. In government organization, you can sit in the departmental examination to get promotion in a higher rank in reserve category. Salary can vary from 10,000 to 15,000 in govt. organization between diploma & degree engineer. In private company, it's not a matter of concern. Finally, I would like to quote "Don,t study to become an engineer in an MNC or in a multi-speciality hospital. Study to learn. Study to scale up and improve the system. Study to improve the country. The pleasure of being a Narayan Murthy or a Kiran Bedi is immeasurable."Thank you.

Can bio medical engineering be done after diploma in electrical engineering?

Absolutely! And if your interest in Bio-Medical Engineering emphasizes Electrical Design and Solution's, you are likely better qualified than a bio-medical engineer with limited Electrical engineering courses. I was lucky to have obtained both degrees in four years by only taking two additional summer sessions. I hope this helps - if you are lucky to have engineering DNA and are a natural Engineer, no matter in what discipline you choose to apply yourself, you’ll be more successful than a “school taught / book smart” engineer in that specialty. I found that those who were not already designing things and fixing “everything” before they got to engineering school didn’t gain much “Engineering capabilities” despite their doing well in labs and tests. I went to Duke University and had friends with almost 4.0 out of 4.0 GPA’s that still couldn’t design circuits in our first jobs.. Of course the real trick will be finding hiring companies and managers able to ascertain your talent rather than what is sadly a majority of hiring people who must rely on degrees and “Certificates” due to their own lack of experience or ability to truly interview for engineering capabilities.I hope this helps and please don’t let “only having your EE degree” hold you back from tackling any engineering opportunity or path of interest - as your degree is “king of the engineering hill”. :)

Can we do a master's degree in a regular college after completing a bachelors degree in an open university?

There are two types of Masters Degrees:No thesis (just more course work)With a THESIS With a thesis means it is a Job.  The college gives you free tuition and a stipend for living (room and board) in exchange for you putting a lot of effort into your research.    A Job is a Job.   If you are Good Enough, then you can work for a professor conducting research and get your Masters while working. As for the More Courses option, that is what a MBA is or a Masters in Education is, for example.   Both are required for some types of advanced jobs. So, if your bachelors from the "open university" is recognized as "real", for a job, then it should do the same to get you into a graduate degree program, at a real college.    Note:  You can also get a Masters degree online at a real college (like Embry Riddle for some engineering applications).  Check that out as well.  All the best
